The room is quite small.

I appreciated that it was right in the middle of the Latin quarter. It was a very convenient location. TV Remote control did not have batteries. There were several lights in the apartment that didn’t work. There was leftover food in the refrigerator from the previous guests.

We stayed in the mezzanine apartment for 4 nights. While the location is excellent, the condition of the property did not meet the standards of Booking.com. The most significant issue was the mildew/mold throughout the apartment. We documented these conditions with photos and contacted Booking.com and the host. There were also several minor issues that could have been overlooked (non functioning lights, freezer full of ice and unusable, lack of listed amenities). The host did respond but not in a timely manner and no in an acceptable way. While the apartment is in a wonderful location, the combination of cleanliness (especially with regards to health/ safety with mildew/mold), lack of maintenance and service issues left us feeling disappointed and frustrated, especially since we have been loyal Booking.com customers. We were further disappointed by Booking.com and their lack of response and responsibility to this situation. They were slow and I spent over 2 hours trying to get help. If you are planning on traveling to Paris, please find another place to stay!

The location was FANtASTIC. Super close to the major attractions. I usually do not go back to the room during a trip, but it was so convienent I stopped back a few times. (Super close to St.Michell / Seine. There is a one of the first churchs on the same street. The atmosphere was very alive with lots of activity. (Felt very safe as a single female reaveler.) The place was very clean. Bed very comfortable and the unit included all for the items I needed. (Iron, blow dryer etc....) The "secret sauce" (the reason so special to me) is that being in this place helped me feel like a local where I could come and go on my own. Felt the Parisian experience. And the gents at the restaurant next down were very kind. (Expecially on day one when I was brain dead.) In addition, the proprietor was very responsive and helpful Overall a great time!! I would highly recommend to all.

I liked the location I do not like how the room did not meet my expectation according to the images that were posted online. In the images online the washrooms are much more cleaner, included a shower with glass doors, however, once we arrived, the shower was very tiny, and had mouldy curtains. The shower was also difficult to use as the hot water would only last approximately two seconds before it became cold. The bed up on the loft was okay, however, on the first night, we noticed numerous bugs around the bed also found one on my pillow.

Staying here was the best decision I made when coming to Paris. The location is one of the best, as your right near everything you could want, and close to some of the best restaurants and sights to see in the city. The host was very helpful, always responsive, and made us feel at home the whole time. The place was clean and just what we wanted. I recommend anyone staying in Paris to come here. Anytime I come to Paris I’ll only be staying here

It is very small, limited storage capacity for two people and the room was not the cleanest. Also there is no elevator which is important for high floors.

Cozy, stylish, super comfortable and very well equipped. Everything we needed was right there. Great location and lovely friendly host. Felt like home in Paris, we'll definitely be back!

The location was amazing! 89 very old, uneven steps to the room!

Best home base when exploring Paris. Close to everything. A little tricky to find the unit and to get in, but host was quick to response so its not a problem.

It was tough to keep cool.

The location is very good, it's close to many sites, restaurants, and bars as well as metro stations and bus stops. We had no issue at all getting around the city. The bed is quite comfortable. The mini-fridge is a nice size to store. There is a laundromat nearby. Neighbors are also quiet and respectful. Not complaints but considerations that come with old French houses that we didn't necessarily like: - Be prepared to climb steep stairs. - Neighbors can technically see into your window. - It can get warm. We did have one or two nights where it got a bit warm but we just opened the windows fully and put the provided fan closer to the bed and it was tolerable. The size of the room is a bit small. We came as a couple and sharing space was sometimes challenging.
-
A bit small. It was exceptionally hot weather and there is no air, like many places in Europe. A fan is provided though. It didn't bother us, but the stairs are old and character worn. Care needs to be exercised.

Amazing location! Nothing to say

The location is great This room (105) has no AC and we arrived with temperature over 90F and high humidity. Opening the windows did not help as they open into a small internal equipment courtyard that has no air movement. The small fan in the room did not help much Also if we opened the curtains the people in the room above and across the equipment courtyard could and did look right into our bedroom. There was often a sewer smell coming from the bathroom. Near the end of our stay the plate holding the buttons for flushing the toilet fell off the wall. Finally - check-in time is 5pm, which is ridiculous. For the price, which is expensive, I recommend finding any other place. The Select Hotel, a 4 star hotel in the same area with AC had rooms at the same rate

The location of the property is perfect! It is very near Notre Dame Church, Saint Chapelle… it is near a lot of restaurants, groceries and a metro station (Saint Michel) The place wasn’t very very clean, but it doesn’t hide the others positive points of the property.

The property was perfect. It is in the best location, right at the heart of the Latin Quarter and easily accessible to the whole city by walk or easy Metros. There are so many great restaurants and cafes right outside the door - you feel like you are immersed in Parisian culture the second you walk outside. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and well stocked with everything you might need. The bed was very comfortable and the room was always at a great temperature! Nicolas was a great host - He provided us with incredible recommendations and made sure we felt comfortable the whole trip. I highly recommend staying here during your trip to Paris- it’s perfect!

Fantastic location in the heart of the Latin Quarter Authentic Parisian apartment Attentive owner Apartment needs some money invested in it. A number of broken pieces of furniture Would be easy to spruce up for a better living experience
