It wasn't cheap, but I was not disappointed!
-
The ac in the room was not very strong, but overall we had a very pleasant stay.

We wanted to be by Gare de Lyon and it was only 2 blocks away. The metro is at Gare de Lyon so it’s convenient to get around Paris. The area is less touristy than other areas of Paris. The room was quiet. We did get a deluxe king room for the extra space and that was nice albeit at a cost. The breakfast buffet while expensive was very nice. My wife didn’t like the smell of the cleaning products they used to clean the room. The scrambled eggs they served in the breakfast buffet had a strange texture and taste to them. The shower area was a little small and water tended to get out onto the floor. As opposed to other areas of Paris, the restaurant selection near the hotel is limited.

For the price I had higher expectations

It's a really small touch, but having the languages spoken on your nametags really reduces the stress for the guests. I know that I can't speak french while I will try, I know I am not speaking it well, so seeing the staff who actively say I speak english on their nametag, creates a better guest experience. Overall, the rooms were updated and very clean. They were typical european hotel rooms on the slightly small but very functional side. The major plus for this hotel is how close it is to Gare de Lyon - we had a very early train departure and were able to walk to the station in less than 5 minutes with our luggage with time to spare for a coffee and croissant.
-
Lovely accommodations very close to Gare du Nord which was very convenient for us. The check in was very fast, front desk helpful and very welcoming. The restaurant is run by very dedicated staff, delightful and made for a lovely evening. We ate several times! Service was exceptional!!! As a suggestion, perhaps you could offer a coffee station in the lobby in the mornings. But there are several just a few doors away.

It was record breaking heatwave in Paris, so I want to be understanding. But AC was not working optimally as well as Outlets in the unit going in and out so nothing could be properly charged in the room.

Location if you coming by train Dirty sheets, smells bad, stains on the walls

Near metro
-
The location which is right next to the metro/train station. The cleanliness of the property. The kindness and professionalism of the staff. There is nothing to dislike ! Everything was perfect.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Not a problem getting our concerns taken care of. Overall a pleasant experience. We liked how easy it was to get to public transportation. It seems when booking through booking.com you the the "bottom of the barrel". Meaning we are usually given the room no one wants. (Close to the elevator, in a location not desired.) This was the case for us this time as well. We were given a room at the end of a stairwell away from all the other rooms with only stairs to access. Not good for an older couple with a lot of heavy luggage. We asked to be moved and were (very nice to us) but again moved to the top floor away from all other rooms. Smaller narrow hall way, not as nice as the other floors.

Excellent location near subway and train station.

Excellent location! 1 block away from Gare de Lyon station, making it super easy to go around Paris and other cities. Surrounded by cafes, restaurants, French pharmacies, a block away from the supermarket and for the Asian guests or Asian food lovers, a block away from a great Chinese restaurant, in case you had enough croissants! Service was really good! Our taxi driver accidently double charge on our way the airport; the hotel receptionist was responsive, helped us right away, contacted the taxi company and we got our refund the next day (we were home already by then and didn't expect much, so it was nice). Room is quite spacy for 2 people and nice bathroom/shower. Value for money and we had a great stay.
-
Luckily we were only staying there one night. The room was TINY. We couldn’t open our suitcases on the floor because then we couldn’t walk to the bathroom. Maybe if you’re just 1 person with just a carryon suitcase you might be ok. Even the shower was tiny.

Ms.Bonnet is exceptionally professional and thoughtful. The location is near a major train and metro station, so it made travel quick and inexpensive. Thank you for your hospitality!

Proximity to train station and Opéra Bastille More pods for the coffee machine - heavy coffee drinker
-
Great location. Easy to walk to Gare de Lyon and also the metro. Nice cafes nearby. I have nothing negative to say. We really liked it.
-
Accessibility. Near train station. None
-
Only one large elevator was working . The small elevator wasn't working right.

Very comfortable and easy in/out for our dog. The staff was very accommodating to our pet.
