Location, air conditioning and water pressure Based on the reviews I had read, my expectations for this hotel were quite high, especially regarding the staff and breakfast. To be honest, the breakfast offered the absolute bare minimum. It genuinely could not have been more basic. Each table has two small side plates and two cups. There is no separate area with stacked plates for guests to use, so apparently the idea is that you should eat your cake from the same plate you just used for your eggs unless you specifically ask someone to bring you another plate from the kitchen. The problem is that there is only one employee working in the breakfast area each day, and that person is constantly busy washing dishes or working in the kitchen. One day, one of our cups was chipped, and on our last day, both of our plates had chipped/broken edges. * The reception staff were friendly and pleasant. Thank you.* BUT: 1. On our first morning, a tall young black lady was working in the breakfast area, and she seemed genuinely annoyed and surprised when we asked her for an extra plate. 2. The main issue, however, was the woman with round glasses who was responsible for housekeeping. On the first day of our stay, even though we had placed the red “We’re sleeping” sign on the door, she entered and cleaned the room anyway when we were out. On the second day, in the afternoon, I was lying on the bed partially undressed. She knocked and immediately opened the door without waiting for me to answer. Literally: knock, knock — and straight inside. I turned toward her, and she suddenly said “sorry,” but instead of leaving, she started speaking to me in French and remained standing inside the room. I eventually had to get up, walk over to her and ask what she wanted (still half naked!) . She said she wanted to refill the minibar, so I told her we didn’t need anything, thank you. After she left, I checked and realised that the minibar had already been refilled when the room was cleaned earlier that same day.

The staff were very friendly. As a solo traveler the room was perfect for what I needed. The biggest perk were the snacks and beverages in your room and lobby. As well and the added perk of being able to go to any of their hotels and use their restrooms or refill my water. Also was there durning the heat wave and my room felt so cool and refreshing after a hot day I loved everything! No cons

Amazing experience with this hotel. Located close to grands boulevard station; friendly staff; free drinks in the mini fridge; and strong air conditioning during the heatwave.

The rooms were very comfortable, clean, good AC. All the staff very friendly.
