Second time visiting the hotel after 4 years. It remains an excellent choice for a central hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, while the staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis. Reception is 24/7 (truly 24/7 with an employee always at the reception desk), which made us feel safe. The hotel is very central, located next to two metro lines and convenient buses. Major attractions are easily accessible in 20-30 minutes. Place de Clichy is very lively and there are several bars and restaurants that stay open until very late. Bonus: Free coffee available at all times, using the reception coffee machine. Photos in Booking underestimate the hotel. They could be improved.

Great hotel - it's so nice to find somewhere that is still a real hotel with a front desk and a person there. The room is somewhat small and basic but perfectly nice, and there is indeed working air conditioning. The location is also very convenient and safe.

It really well located, The staff is super friendly. We arrived early and they let us check in ahead of time. Very clean facilities, they speak English and Spanish that works really well for us. It really nice, the elevator helps a lot because the lauggage. They rooms are clean.

The room was clean and spacious for 3 people. It was in a great location. There were lots of restaurants and cafes nearby within walking distance. The metro was also a short 2 mm minute walk which made exploring the city much easier. We were here during the June heatwave and the a/c here is similar to North American standards and was nice to walk into after being in the heat The beds were hard and uncomfortable and I had trouble sleeping due to that. The rooms are also listed as soundproof however I could hear the street noise every night. The elevator is tiny and can only fit one person and a couple suitcases.

Location was great, staff was helpful, air con was perfect. As advertised, room was small

Clean, could hear people in other rooms but overall in a quiet location, close to metro, great to be able to use the kitchen downstairs if you want to self cater.

Great location

The room was comfortable and clean. I was there for 8 days and my towels and sheets were changed regularly. The staff was unfailingly friendly and helpful. It was located just a short distance from Place de Clichy, but on a quiet side street. It was a pleasant walk away from Montmartre and in another direction the Grands Boulevards department stores. It was a great value for the money. The lobby is not very welcoming, and there is no breakfast offered. The elevator is tiny, and the television in my room was a bit quirky, with a poor selection of channels. The biggest thing I didn’t like has nothing to do with the hotel itself. It is the fact that this property has an enormous number of rave reviews on this website. Very suspicious. It made me wonder if I was going to find a real dump when I got there. The hotel should take down these reviews if they are fake. You don’t need them. The hotel is fine.

Everything was perfect!

The room was so cozy, it had an overall old school aspect but in the best way possible. I loved that my room was kind of secluded, and it went into an interior garden, it felt very intimate. The room was SO clean, I can't stress this enough because it's a very important aspect for me. The staff was always super nice and helpful. The hotel is situated at maximum 3 minutes from the Place de Clichy métro and bus stations so you can get everywhere easily even though it's not central. There are also plenty of restaurants, shops and boulangeries in the area, as well as an Auchan supermarket. All in all a wonderful accomodation and perfect for solo travellers, I'll surely be back here.

Excellent The lift is small

The location was awesome! Close to transit stations, quiet, and we felt very safe. I did not like that the thermostat was locked. Our room was a bit too warm for our comfort… but we opened a window to let cool air in and we were just fine.

There were no any napkins in the dining room . Do I have to think about napkins before my breakfast or dinner if I'm gonna have it in the dining room?? The kitchen room looks so-o-o outdated. And the light in the kitchen is so dull. The size of our room is ridiculously small. The entrance to the toilet was less than 1 meter in front of my nose.

A gem of a hotel. The reception staff are very friendly and speak excellent english. The location was perfect for our week long tourist visit. Multiple bus lines near by that go to all the key tourist sites. Hotel has a shared kitchen area which is great for preparing your own meals. AC setting is hotel wide though we didn't have any problems even when it was very hot outside. Housekeeping do an excellent job with daily cleaning.

Room was good. I liked that my room was away from other rooms, in a little outside area. Staff was great. Showed up early from being out after hours and staff was prompt opening the door. Close to a train station, food spots, and markets. You have to leave your room key at the front desk every time you leave. Not a huge deal, but an extra thing to do on your way back to your room.

The staff was incredibly nice, I’m a germaphobe and the place was really clean. It also had the comfiest beds. I was really surprised by that. I did take advantage of the free cappuccinos while I was there. And the location was near a metro station, grocery store, laundromat, and a short walk from moulin rouge. I definitely recommend this place. It’s a bit out dated but for the price, it was great!

Need a small offering for breakfast. Not a deal breaker- but should be nice.
