The location was exceptional, very easy to get around Paris via bus or even on foot and honestly less than 20 minutes away from many museums and historic sites! The staff were kind, the design was modern and chic and the rooms were very clean with daily housekeeping services. There are little to no amenities here. No pool, no gym, no airport shuttle, no restaurant, no fridge in your room if you wanted to bring takeaway food back. Only a breakfast that is a 16€ a day upcharge and a complimentary coffee bar. The most disappointing part was the lack of space in my room. There was maybe 1.5 feet of space between the bed and the wall all around the room. I was alone and could barely move around my room, I don’t know how two people and their items would fit in there.

the location was perfect! very close to notre dame and other restaurants and stores nearby totally minor issue - the room was small but having a balcony made up for it!

loved the location - close to church, bakery etc.

Location, air conditioning, water and coffee machine Nothing

Great location, just a short walk to Notre Dame & other popular spots. Clean and great air conditioning given the heat wave in Paris. Nothing, it was great.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Hotel Oratio and if the opportunity arises to return to Paris, we will stay there again. Adam and the Madam at Breakfast were very welcoming and hospitable. LOCATION: We found the hotel to be just in the outskirts of the areas of tourist interest (i.e. Pantheon, Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle, Lux Gardens, etc) so it's about a 10-15 minutes walk to and from the sites. This location seemed to have more locals than tourist which was a pleasant surprise for me. There are many eateries around the hotel and much more in the 6th Arrondissement which is a 10-15 min walk. If you are looking to eat the famous French pastries, then this is the hotel for you. There are 4 boulangeries and patisseries located just around the corner, a couple more across the street and many more along the Saint Germain Boulevard- so many to choose, so little time. There is an local open market around the corner every Saturdays and Tuesdays with a wide variety of local vendors selling prepared foods, cheese, meat, fish, clothing, etc. BREAKFAST: If you love to eat a wide variety of breakfast items like I do (pastries, yogurt, eggs, meat, cheese, fruits), then you’ll enjoy the buffet breakfast downstairs. The hotel has their own Exclusive pastry chef that bake all the pastries fresh every day. I would say the croissants are equally (or better) than the ones at the boulangerie. GREAT VALUE: The hotel has a filtered water station in the lobby area which serves cold, room temperature and hot water. Bring your insulated water bottles and save from buying water at the store. In addition, there is a Nesspreso machine which also serves brewed coffee, cappuccino, latte and a wide selection of tea bags. All free for hotel guests! For first time visitors please note that the hotel (like many hotels around Paris) are quite “compact”. Expect the rooms, corridors, bathrooms and even elevators to be “space efficient”. Elevator fits two people comfortably, three would be max. Large luggages were brought up one at a time. But this is typical living in a densely populated city like Paris. The hotel seemed recently renovated with new flooring, painting and with simple furnishings. Again, with the compact living theme, the closets and drawers were cleverly integrated into the walls to achieve the minimalist look. This means that there’s not much counter space in the room, bathroom and shower to conveniently leave your toiletries and things around. TIP: bring extra hangers, toiletry bags with hooks and even little suction cups with hooks for additional storage space. Unfortunately, we did not get cleaning services two out of the eight days we stayed there. The housekeeping staff came too late to clean our room and we were too jet-lagged to bother. Thankfully, we kept our room tidy and all we needed was a change of towels.

Professional front desk staff and very helpful. Property was well maintained and in a good location. Nice lift available. The room was light, airy and very clean. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom. They offer a delicious breakfast in a cozy nook downstairs. There was nothing we didn’t like.

This is a great boutique hotel in the Latin Quarter. Great location, clean, friendly staff (the breakfast hostess was particularly amazing), great breakfast. The front desk staff had great recommendations especially Maison D'Isabelle and the market which is right around the corner. Very walkable. Rooms were small as in most of Europe but had all necessary amenities. Nothing really. Great experience.

We especially liked the locations and the style of the hotel. The staff were excellent, and the room was amazing with a phenomenal balcony view of the church. Breakfast had great offerings and the fre coffee and refillable glass bottles were a huge plus. We will be back! Had to tink on this one - only minor one was uncontrollable by the hotel - the bells of the church across the street randomly chime all the time - sometimes as many as 20+ - we got used to it after a while but it was a bit annoying at times. No complaints about the actual hotel at all :)

The staff was great, super location, very clean. We had a 'comfort' room which was very small- almost claustrophobic. Very small bathroom. Extra tiny lift.

The staff Very small room

Stellar location, excellent staff and top notch petit déjeuner. Very clean, Small elevator and rooms.

Very nice hotel, great location and exellent breakfast. Rooms a little small but clean and comfortable. Highly recomended.

The location was perfect, staff was kind and always available. Free still and sparkling water, coffee and tea were such a nice touch. Room was cozy and had a great little city view. Would stay again for sure!

I loved how clean and new the facility was. Staff was very sweet! Held our bags when we arrived early so we could explore. The location is also great. Very walkable and the area was safe. Overall, a good stay! Room was very very small. No where to hang our wet towels after showering. The "closet" to hang our clothes was not tall enough so our clothes scrunched on the bottom. There is no bar or cafe here. It's just a corner with some tea & coffee for sale. The elevator is also very tight. You can fit two people with luggage and you'd be skin to skin.

Can't say enough about this hotel. In particular staff - especially Adam, Fabrice(?) and two other staff members, but we didn't get their names went out of their way to help us out when we had a unpleasant experience - they were professional, kind and went beyond expectations. So grateful. The hotel is a gem and we will always go back. Lovely spot, clean and comfy - free water machine (or tea or coffee- loved that.) We were a family with a few rooms, everything was absolutely fine and a good value. The balcony room was wonderful, the regular room was maybe just a bit tight on space - but that didn't bother us.

The location is perfect. Metro stop just around the corner. Hotel was clean and staff were very friendly. I would recommend staying here. I honestly don't have any negatives about this hotel. If I had to think of something we booked a comfort room which was rather small but the kind man on reception offered us an upgrade for our second night into one of the rooms on the 5th floow which had a balconey.

Very clean. Most hotels don’t bother cleaning under the bed, but here it didn’t even have dust under the bed. Elevator was really small and slow.
