MIJE Marais - Hostel

Location was great! Only 2 mins walk (with luggage!) from subway station. Room was quite spacious, with all facilities well functioned and everything kept neat and clean. Building looks to be transformed from an historical office type of building? A very unique experience to get to know the interior design of this type of building. The rich and generous breakfast was a great surprise too. Great value with such fair price at this location.

They don’t have lockers

Please be aware this place does not provide any kind of air conditioning. If they are available they might provide you with a compact fan. Nothing more, so decide accordingly and book it. Also there wont be any parking provided during the stay.

The only small thing I would have preferred is having the lower bunk instead of the upper one, but it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, everything was great, and I’d be happy to stay here again on my next trip to Paris.

Location Shared toilet and room cleaning

Great place to stay for the price. Location is a huge asset as it is a short walk to Notre Dam Cathedral and not that far away from Luxembourg gardens. Rooms are spacious and there is a shower in the room which is great. There was not a power outlet near my bed.

The best thing about this hostel is the location. I enjoyed my stay, especially considering it was my first experience staying in a shared room, and I found it to be a positive one. I really liked that the bathroom was inside our room and shared only among the four girls staying there. The toilet was located next door, which was fine and also meant there were no unpleasant smells in the room. The breakfast was free, which was a nice bonus. It was quite simple and mostly consisted of carbohydrates, with no protein options, fruits, or vegetables, but it was still a good start to the day. One downside was that there were no lockers inside the room. However, lockers were available in a separate secure area outside the room.

Clean and beautiful building Very tight room with no soap. The breakfast was far too overpriced for some bread and yogurt. I would not recommend the breakfast at that cost. Parisians staff are not warm. Recommend better breakfast or cheaper and please include soap

The location is a 10/10 and the room and courtyard very nice.

Super cool place in classic building. Nice staff. Old USB-A chargers at bedside and 12-3 p.m. room lockout.

The service was good I had to pay for my towel, there was no soap in the bathroom, no wifi in the room, most of the charging spots weren't working, the bed was uncomfortable, there is no air-conditioning, the breakfast was a joke.

There was a bad smell in the room, and the cleaning could have been better. Breakfast is really basic with the cheapest stuff. But ok, for only one night is okish.

Amazing price/product combo, very lovely and helpful staff, the location is *amazing*, the view from the windows is great, breakfast is ok (can have more options) It was 37 degrees one day and the absence of ACs was very upsetting :"(
