WS Opéra - Laffitte

This is our second time staying at this property because we love the location! You are close to lots of wonderful cafes and shops and there are lots of public transit options nearby. Check in and out is easy and the building is very secure, with several different door codes required to enter. If you have mobility issues this is not a good choice for you, as 3 flights of steep and narrow stairs are required. The unit is very small so make sure you are comfortable with your travel mates.

The room was comfortable, the bed was very clean. The bathroom was smelling really bad, like a smell coming from sewers. There was a lot of noise during the night and I was waking up very often. Is a studio, not an apartment, so you have super limited space. You need 4 codes to enter yournroom: 1st code for the main building big entrance 2nd code for the inner building door 3rd code for the floor access 4th code for the room Is way too much I would say, but you get use to it. Beware you have to pay the City taxes when you leave. You receive a message from the landlord specifying the amount, which you must put inside an envelope and then deposit it inside the ballot box in near the floors entrance (yeah, the one using the 3rd code)

Good location

Excellent location - most of the main sights are within walking distance. There’s also a metro station nearby, but we never needed to use it thanks to the great location. Due to the hot weather, the apartment was quite warm, but the cooling device provided helped a lot.

Great location, great service, small but has everything. A bit small for two people

Location and good bathroom. The two fans were not enough to alleviate the heat in Paris; the nights were a nightmare. We could only rely on a single fan, because the ceiling fan only works if the lights are on. So, the only option would have been to sleep with the lights on—an absolute absurdity. I complained and received "apologies," but "apologies" don't solve the heat.

the location is perfect There is No Elevator, only small little staircase and is really dangers to take a big suitcases with that small little staircase, staircase is really dirty look like never on clean up

‪‬The location was excellent — 20 Rue Laffitte in the 9th arrondissement. Very central, close to Opéra, metro stations, cafes, and shops. The property is quite good for a short stay, and the staff were attentive and helpful. The room was a bit small, but acceptable for a short stay.

Room was very small, bedding was cheap and bed is uncomfortable, room lights were missed up, no air conditioning, nicely located but could be loud till late at night.

The fan and the light were on the same circuit, so they both had to be on at the same time.

We were a group of three guests and the property was very suitable. The apartment was clean, the beds were super comfortable, and both the kitchen and bathroom were well equipped. The staff was really friendly — we stayed for four nights, and they offered to change the towels. And the location is PERFECT. If you’re planning to visit in the summer, this may not be the best choice — the apartment doesn’t have air conditioning and gets extremely hot. Although there were four fans provided, they weren’t enough, and it was difficult to sleep. That said, it’s the perfect apartment for cooler weather.
