Chang Charlie Inn

Location close to the beach, restaurants nearby, a 7/eleven right at the end of the street. The hotel is located on a very quiet street, although very close to restaurants and the beach. Close enough to the ferryboat - if you go by taxi - to make independent trips to the islands near Pattaya. I do not recommend the beach in Pattaya - it is very dirty, as is the ocean water. The room was clean, the bathroom should be modernized a little. They do not have breakfast. Don't be fooled by the pool - there is a small one right at the reception.

It’s close to Beach Road. It’s small and therefore has a more intimate feel to it. The staff are very friendly and kind.

Great location .... walking to beach & places to eat surrounded by roosters! Take ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Also the A/C in my bedroom struggled .... friendly staff., moved me the next day.

It was in walking distance of the beach and some good bars and restaurants.IWe liked the traditional Thai decor. Our friends' room had problems with the stink from the drain and holes in the bed linen.The tap in our bathroom was loose.

There were ground floor room available. The patio was big and comfy.

The room does not have a boiler, the toilet was clean but it seems it has a problem and water flows beneath it.

Charming boutique place as per photos. Had a narrow pool. Didnt use it but it's there. Is indoors so am assuming is nice and cool. Free coffee/tea next to pool. Room/ensuite size very good, door is an actual key so fridge stays on all the time, unlike some of those key card places, great comfy medium bed for great sleep, has room ceilling fan so didnt need a/c often. A/C worked well when i did use it, good smart tv also includes good cable stations with movies + netflix if u have account, youtube etc. No road noise, no music from bars like many other areas. Nice large balconies.with plenty of plants. I researched many hotels in Jomtien for about 6 months and happy with my decision, albeit only for 5 days. No in-room kettle but has coffee/tea downstairs. Having said that, i didnt ask about getting an in room kettle as not a issue but know some people like this convenience. Balconies easily accessible by other room occupants so keep your balcony doors secure as a proactive security measure, not that i had any issues, am just saying. If price included 2 eggs on toast for breakfast would have been perfect ;)

The staff are so so. The morning lady was very nice and helpful, the last for the afternoon shift was the most rude and unpleasant I’ve ever come across. She looked so angry one day that I asked her if she was ok. She then looked at me with like she wanted to bite me, saying, “I’m doing my job,” which she clearly hates. She is not fit ro interact with guests and made me feel very uncomfortable which is why I left early. Not recommended.
