AC in the room is very old and barely works

Breakfast could be much better (from hot options only bacon and scrambled egg was available)

They upgraded us to a jr suite. My daughter and I lived like princesses. The grounds were beautiful There were no signs to the parking lot- which is up a gravel road

I loved it! It’s a beautiful castle with a very nice staff. The rooms are very clean, mattresses and pillows are very comfortable. The food in a restaurant was absolute delicious. I would recommend this castle hotel to anyone. Nothing to complaint about

I felt like we were living in the age of knights and princess's. Super fun place and so authentic. The food was amazing. My third time here but first with my wife. She absolutely loved it! We’ll be back.

Beautiful castle. The staff were amazing. It was difficult to find. We arrived by bus. It was a long difficult walk with all our luggage. No elevator and we were on the 4th floor. Stairs to get to the castle and stairs to the room. One staff member was nice enough to help with my suitcase. I had my bags and my husband had all of his luggage and bags. Even with my bag we had to stop a couple times to get up the stairs and a couple railings were missing getting to the 4th floor. The bed was lumpy on my husband’s side.

The restaurant service and food were excellent The fact the there was no assistance provided to bring luggage to the hotel from the car park. We were not allowed to drive up the driveway to drop off luggage and there was no golf buggy or porter to assist. Zero for accessibility.

The room was beautiful, exactly as you would expect from a castle. There were few windows and you needed the lights to see in the room, but that's part of the design. The bathroom was large and clean. The interior of the castle was amazing: stairs, rooms and small corridors everywhere. This stay is perfect if you want to discover a castle! The breakfast was a normal italian breakfast with both sweet and savoury options as well as fruit and yoghurt. This hotel was a perfect stay for discovering the nearby city of Ivrea that is famous for Olivetti computers, typewriters, and architectural design. I absolutely recommend it for a few days stay in the area and will come again if I visit the area since there are still a few museums I didn't have time to see. No complaints, everything was perfect.

This is a wonderful hotel in a medieval castle. If you are a history buff you simply must stay here to touch the past a little. Nice rooms, excellent service, delicious dinner in the restaurant. I think each room should have a booklet about the history of the castle and a small guide to it. That would be great!

Restaurant stuff is well trained and serving with respect. Food was tasty, but pretty regular choice of dishes. Deserts were very good. Also, breakfast was not huge but was served good Never met such a disrespectful welcome through all of my life. Let’s go point to point 1. Parking is downstairs of the castle. You supposed to climb all of your stuff, your child, and your mother at her 70s. They provide help with male stuff, but 2. We were waiting around an hour for the stuff to help with the bags. We decided to take this time and explore the castle but 3. During the check in you will find out that your standard rooms will not be on the main building, because “you have booked in on booking.com”. So you go on, pay extra and finding out that only part you will actually see is the restraunt and your own rooms. Nothing else about the castle, only exterior part. You will start to find an opportunity to look out for more, maybe to know more about the castle, and you will only hear that that have some packages on their web site where you have a guided tour as well, but of course, it is not availabale because we booked it with a booking.com. Was curious about it later and checked out their official web page - as medieval as the castle is. And the most incredible part was 5. The unnamed receptionist. We were met with the one with semi blond hair. She was the one who was telling us all this castles rules and we were trying to discuss our opportunities about the castle, but 6. Then she came. The full-bodied lady with glasses and fair-haired, which interrupted our discussion, told us “we have answered all your questions, take a sit and wait for the check-in”. When I asked her name, this worker of the facility told me she will not answer me and it is a private information. I honestly told her I wanted to use it for the review, because I was shocked that somebody can behave the way she does. To sum it up - you will see almost nothing inside, the receptions will be rude with you and you will leave this castle with 0 information about it. Sad that the people working here will leave bad memories about this beautiful place, that truly deserves more glory

Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Our room faced the sun and got too hot for the air conditioning to keep up.
