Everything. The staff will go above and beyond to help, the space is really well maintained and decorated beautifully. Rooms are fresh, big and you’ll feel like you time travelled. Nothing to report.

We absolutely enjoyed every minute of our stay at Yeng Keng. The location was close to everything you need. It was magical to just walk outside and stroll along all the colorful streets and smell the aromas of some of the best food we’ve had in Malaysia. The staff was outstanding! So helpful and polite and made us feel very special. Shout out to Yeoh…customer service like we’ve never had before. The hotel was beautiful and full of character and charm. We wouldn’t hesitate staying here again! Nothing…everything was perfect!

The location was perfect. We were able to walk or take a short Grab ride to all the places we wanted to go in George Town. Checking in/out was a breeze. The staff was wonderful, and the townhouse (number 7) was beautifully renovated and decorated.

The location was great for us. In the livelier part of town and easy walking distance to the attractions we were visiting to see. Staff were really lovely throughout the stay. Pool area well maintained and nice to enjoy after hot day out. The building itself on the outside is really pretty. The room was very dated. We paid for a better room but the pictures on Booking make it look much better than what you actually get. Very hard bed. AC very noisy and broke completely on our last night with a smell of burning. Breakfast was ok but not great.

The location is excellent, right in the center of the tourist area, within walking distance of Chulia Street food and many great cafés. There is some noise from traffic at times. Adding a sofa in each room would further enhance comfort for guests.

Upon my request, the hotel arranged for airport transfer once I checked out. However the driver was late. No apologies, nothing. Only said, "I dunno anything, my boss arranged the transfer. Talk to him." Yeng Keng hotel should re-evaluate using this transport vendor.

Really charming and beautiful small hotel right in the midst of the most interesting part of George Town. Staff is exceptionally kind and competent. Pool was a relaxing oasis tucked away. Tasty breakfast with good local and western options. Minor quibble would be that while the breakfast options were solid and tasty, they did not vary day to day. It was only on the tail end of our week we craved a bit of variety! One or two more pool lounge chairs would be nice too.

Beautiful hotel in a very vibrant locality. There are countless restaurants, bars and shops within a ten minute walk.The staff are excellent. The breakfast was wonderful. Although small the swimming pool was perfect for cooling down after a hot day. The location can be a bit noisy, because of the mixed nature of the street.
