The location,the sea view was the best bit. Was lovely to have a kettle & and nice selection of hot drink offers,kids were pleased with their hot chocolates. The unwelcoming snappy inpatient approach to me on arrival from the elderly lady behind the bar,which continued throughout our stay & quite frankly frightened my kids with her attitude. The extremely disgusting stench in the hallway leading to the room was absolutely atrocious,bathroom hadn't been cleaned from previous guests & obvious signs of pubic hairs all over the bathroom floor. Bunk beds very wobbly,wonky & kids felt insecure & unsafe so we all squeezed & slept in 1 double bed ( 4 of us ) for 2 nights. Bathroom extractor fan pull cord had been either pulled away or removed so had no choice to use it,also caused a high pitched continuous noise when bathroom light switched on,even if it was connected to this switch it still didn't work. Had a family meal,it was lovely but tried to be charged for 2 extra drinks which we didn't order/receive. The cost of the room for 2nights was too high and no breakfast included ( £184 in total )

The location was beautiful! The beds didn't feel sturdy. Music playing loud till gone midnight downstairs. No WiFi connection! Shower was either freezing or boiling. Could have been cleaner. Light wasn't working in single bed room.

Clean, bright and close to the sea Shame they don’t do breakfast anymore in with the stay. Could do with a small fridge in room.

Sea view Family room is very noisy above the pub and you can hear music and shouting until 1am so if you're a light sleeper I'd avoid this particular hotel, general facilities very basic, beds were squeaky and old but if you're not too fussy and a heavy sleeper then this hotel is fine.

Proximity to beach Couldn't connect to Internet at all

The hotel was in a quiet location, the room was overlooking the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant served lovely food. Only one minor issue and that was there was no tea spoon in the room to stir the coffee! But it was not a problem.

The room and facilities exceeded our requirements and expectations. We just needed a place to rest after a busy day of activities and this was perfect.

Great location, right next door to the beach and within a very easy walk of the local facilities. Excellent cafe next door for breakfast and several cafes along the seafront. Would recommend a visit to the Museum of speed, and to know that you have walked along the beach with so much history makes it well worth a visit. Would also invite you to take a walk up the cliff along the Coast Patfor some fantastic views across the estuary, good pre-breakfast exercise.
