Days Inn by Wyndham Pensacola - Historic Downtown

Very clean, centrally located and good price

CLEAN AND VERY ACCOMODATING TO ALL OF MY NEEDS. CLOSE TO MY EVENT AND CONVENIENT DOWNTOWN LOCATION.

The hotel had a lot of mold and triggered massive allergies. The floors were not very clean. The hotel is old and not well maintained. We booked it through Expedia, spent the first night there and left the second day, as soon as we found another hotel. We lost the money for the rest of the week because the hotel management did not lift the penalty fee and Expedia did not lift their penalty either. Breakfast was very simple, staff tried to help as much as they could, the manager was never available to help us resolve the issue. There were lots of homeless around the area and it did not feel very safe at night. This was very unfortunate as we spent a lot of time trying to resolve the issue and find another place to stay while we were in Pensacola. I wish I had done a better job researching the place before we booked it, but I was enamored by the pictures. Well... we learned our lesson. I wish them the best and hopefully they can improve, because the location is very close to downtown.

Blood on sheets, wads of hair in shower drain, sticky liquid all over floor. We called for new sheets and changed them ourselves. called manager who had nothing to offer no did he apologize. The only person that apologized was the young gentleman who brought us new sheets and picked up the bloody ones.

Stayed one night for an event downtown. Location was convenient, room was clean. Breakfast was very basic. Room was pretty small. For a place to sleep and shower it worked well.

Perfect pool & access to the Palafox Market, Restaurants & Bars. Short trip to the beach. Had in issue with the tub draining & we were quickly offered a new room. 5 star service from the whole staff.

The property was clean. The parking was very convenient. The AC needed working on. I didn't contact management because we didn't want to have to change rooms. That being said, the temperature was good enough to work with. The beds were comfortable. The pool was well kept and wonderful. I would stay here again.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, and I appreciated their willingness to assist me. Unfortunately, my overall experience was very disappointing. When I arrived, there was trash throughout the parking lot. As I got out of my car, a man nearby was smoking and watching me until I reached my room. Since I was traveling alone, this made me feel very unsafe. When I entered the room, it smelled strongly of marijuana. When I pulled back the sheets, I found hairs, food, and what appeared to be bedbugs. I immediately took pictures and left the room. I booked the hotel through Expedia, and they were very helpful in getting me a refund. The hotel staff also looked at the pictures, showed them to the manager, and agreed that I should receive a refund. They apologized for what happened, which I appreciated. While the staff was friendly and helpful, the condition of the room and the overall experience made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
