Extended Stay America Suites Pensacola University Mall

Checked out 10mintues after checking in room was nasty it smelled of cat urine and there was nasty stuff left in the sink. property was not well kept. Smelled of weed as soon as we walked in.

The room was clean and decent. However, the breakfast was just a few packaged foods you have to pick and go, no proper breakfast with a place to sit. Might as well as No Breakfast Included.

Didn’t stay. Walked in our room-looked around and went & got a refund. Sooooo gross!! Dirty, old, work out

Location Got to the room to find someone sleeping in one of the beds. Hotel was booked up so we had to find other accommodations.

Exceptional

While clean the room was very damp and musty. Front desk lady was lovely and helpful. The vending machine didn’t work.

Large refrigerator This place is in the Motel 6 category. I would never recommend anybody stay here. It smelled like chemicals that were trying to cover other issues. My dog spilled the little water on the carpet and I blotted it with a towel and the towel was embarrassingly dirty. All the carpets are filthy. Garbage is overflowing in the parking lot. I stayed in Stay America closer to the university which is seemingly new and of course wonderful and designed to their concept. This property is obviously purchased. There was actually no silverware cups saucers even plastic cups in my room.

The problems started the second we opened the door to our room. The smell was overwhelming, a combination of weed, mildew, and cat urine that hit us immediately and never went away. It was impossible to relax or feel comfortable in a room that smelled that bad. The room looked worn down and poorly maintained, and cleanliness clearly wasn’t a priority. When we brought our concerns to the staff, there was little sense of urgency to address the situation or make things right. A hotel room should provide a clean, comfortable place to rest. Instead, we spent the entire stay trying to ignore the odor and counting down the hours until we could leave. For the price we paid, this experience was completely unacceptable. I understand that hotels can have occasional issues, but strong odors like this don’t develop overnight. It felt like this room should never have been rented out in the condition it was in. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. There are plenty of other places to stay that actually value cleanliness and guest comfort. Save yourself the disappointment and book somewhere else.

The very first room we went into it smelled like someone smoke a pack of cigarettes in there went back to the desk and ask can we get another room and the second room we went to the room had same smell but a little less of the cigarette smell I will never return to this Extend Stay ever. The bed was uneven and very hard. The check out morning the maintenance man tried to walk in our room without knocking and said he didn’t know that someone was checked into the room. So that tells me very poor communication.

It’s an old hotel. No amenities. Only 1 staff worker. Don’t recommend.

Nothing is maintained . The halls , the lobby even the elevator was dirty. Rooms are dirty and need a maintenance check. Everything in this hotel needs updating.

Good location No phones. Advertise good breakfast, breakfast was a hard small muffin and coffee.

Elevator smelled of human urine, carpet throughout route to room filthy & stained. Hotel room has strong marijuana smell along with cherry air freshner. Left location for different hotel. Don't bother with this location.

Moley musty room. And a $150 key deposit that I'm hoping to get back 1 day. Soon?

For the price that I paid, the place looks old and ran down. Nothing was upgraded. There was a stove as mentioned, there was no accessories to use if I wanted to cook. Not a spoon plate coffee pot or nothing in site. The carpets are horrible. The afternoon clerk has a attitude and not friendly at all. I stayed here years ago and the service and quality was 100 percent thats why I came back. After this stay I will go elsewhere.
