Peoria Marriott Pere Marquette

The hotel was clean. Staff were nice and helpful. It does not have continental breakfast, and very limited free parking, so the attached garage is a nightly $15. It is within walking distance to the Civic Center.

Nice, comfortable hotel in downtown Peoria. Rooms are very comfortable, good size, and well maintained. Parts of the hotel around the lobby and the elevators are looking dated and would benefit from a refresh to really give that 4-star feeling. Staff are always helpful.

What I liked most about the property was the overall atmosphere, the layout, and how well-maintained everything was. The property had a comfortable and welcoming feel, and I especially appreciated the features that made it convenient and enjoyable. What made it unique was the combination of its character, location, and the little details that gave it its own personality.

Thank you for free conceriage breakfast. Staff did not show up at 6:00 a.m. to open but front desk pulled in a staffer and she was exceedingly helpful. Parking plentiful, bed comfy, very clean, asked for quiet room and was given one. had 8:15 medical appointment so stress when breakfast not open but situation ended well

the only problem I has was the parking deck is way too far without enough lighting for a single woman to be walking to & from just to get to the vehicle

The building was very beautiful and unique. It was relatively clean and organized with a helpful staff. For the price, it was an excellent value located in the middle of downtown. Highly recommended for anybody going to/through Peoria

The Pere Marquette is a grand, historic hotel in the heart of downtown Peoria. While it is true that the downtown is not as lively as it was fifty years ago, there are places to walk to--some restaurants, the riverfront, the Civic Center, the Caterpillar Visitor Center, and the Riverfront Museum. You can experience old-time grandeur in a well-maintained hotel. My only complaint is that the pool and hot tub continue to be closed for renovation--they were closed back in May when I stayed as well.

They left me on hold 15 minutes. They don't follow up on phone calls. I left some shirts in my room and the front dest wouldn't send anyone to retrieve them. House keeping wouldn't answers the phone.

Room was clean. Bed and pillows were very comfortable! All the staff we came in contact with were pleasant and friendly. The staff at the bar was exceptional!!

Parking was easy and but too much of a hassle to get our luggage back and forth. We did find someone's left over food in our mini fridge, we tossed that in the trash. No big deal. All else was very good.
