Hotel Spa La Colina

This hotel is a slice of paradise! The rooms are large, peaceful, and inviting and each feels as though it is a cozy corner of the property. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly- we ended up watching world cup games together and talking a lot. Everywhere there are birds, flowers, and a sense of tranquility. I used Spa Colina as a base to explore the coffee region (Salento, Filandia, and the thermales) and it was easy to get to/from the airport and then drive around. It is advised to rent an SUV. Returning home to the steam/sauna then pool and a sunset cocktail with a delicious dinner was a dream. Sometimes the wifi was spotty.

Everything was amazing!! The staff, specially (Jordan y Alex) were AMAZING!! The food choices and the SPA trement was also amazing. I don't think there was anything I didn't like. Thanks for having us and we will definitely be coming back.

I really appreciated the complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. The front desk was always ready if anything was needed (bilingual is a plus too!). The full spa package was exquisite and I really enjoyed my massage. ?‍♂️ A special shout out to Alex who gave me a tour of the grounds of the property and also makes a mean cocktail! I enjoyed the views from the top of the private hiking trail. However, it is a bit overgrown and could use some attention. It did make for a very special sunset and not a soul in sight! ?

Anna Maria, Lady and Dan were extraordinary. Very professional, kind and hospitable. They made our stay and comfort special. The location is breathtaking. Every morning to wake up with the songs of the birds, looking over the valley and the mountains, and to have encounters with the hummingbirds, patrons and other colorful birds, is out of this world. And the best companion for hiking of course was Miele, the most adorable dog. Excellent place, highly recommended ❤️ The road to the hotel

There room we had was nice and comfortable, the view is nice, it has big windows and we could enjoy the breeze outside, the birds in the morning are beautiful. My prenatal massage was relaxing, she knew what she was doing and had great pressure. Overall the place is Nice. They offered complementary coffee and tea, also complementary transport to airport. When we check in the guy at the front was very chatty with the other coworkers, he was doing everything at the same time, and we felt he was all over the place. The food is ok, they add tons of heavy cream and cheese to almost everything. My husband didn’t like his massage, since the girl was all over the place with no technique, and was not relaxing to hear her rubbing the hot stones in front of his ears.

Service and ambience Nothing to complain about

Amazing service! The view is incredible and you do not want to leave the hotel. There is a very cool hike and people are extremely nice. I would have appreciated more healthy options in the menu. However the food is delicious!!

service and food and views we basically was locked out when we got to the hotel at 2am… literally thank god that i have long arms and was was able to open the latch to get into the hotel we had to leave the car outside the wooden doors. the excuse was the security got hurt and didn’t come to work and they didn’t see us leave. poor excuse, had i been stranded outside i would have put a 1 score all around.

The massages were excellent; Lydia and Shirley Sauna, swimming pool and jacuzzi were wonderful Very friendly staff especially Jordan, the guest reception Breakfast not much choice Menu was poor

The hotel is on a mountain, beautiful views, lots of greenery, exceptional service and we enjoyed our massage package, which included a dinner and wine... Relaxing atmosphere

The hotel was perfect. The views are breathtaking and the staff was so incredibly attentive. The view of the pool at dusk was unbelievable. There are no complaints!!

Relaxation Paradise

Location and attention. No complaints all excellent.

There's no question that the views, and the setting are the best aspects of this property. Off the beaten path a bit, but totally worth the drive. Great for a one or two night stay. Yes, it's dated, but that's part of the charm. It's clean and the service is friendly, without being overbearing. The food was fantastic as well. Some noisy guests that took over pool/jacuzzi area. Not the hotel's fault but distracted some of our quiet time.
