Recall Isaan Isan Concept at Khaoyai

Breakfast is not impressive

Location is super close to the national park which was the best part of this stay. Staff are very friendly and breakfast was very good. Unfortunately we woke up at night to find cockroaches on our bed. There was also a power cut in the hotel, which made it difficult to contact the staff for a while and on our first day we also had no electricity in our room for a few hours. To be fair, the hotel staff responded quickly and gave us a different room to sleep in. However, I still don’t think it is acceptable to have bugs in the bed. The general maintenance of the room could also be improved, as some things (such as the shower head) were not working properly.

The staff was wonderful. Food amazing local fresh. The location perfect!!! Would stay there again.

Good location The price was too expensive compared to service and facilities. The towel was dirty. There were a lot of ants in the room. Hot water machine did not work well. They did not provide enough food and tables in breakfast time.

The last order times of the restaurant seemed to change randomly and this caused a lot of inconvenience. There was no communication regarding this volatile time for closing the restaurant at dinner time.

Room size, hotel concept, individual hotel. no space to lay anything in the bath; sink separate from bath; no power sockets at the bed, room maintenance of lights and terrace door needed.

Was a nice hotel, fantastic location being very close to the national park entrance. Would stay again on our return to hao yai.

The hotel features a unique design that beautifully reflects the cultural identity of the Northeast region. It is not too big, yet not too small, providing a comfortable space without feeling cramped. The breakfast is presented exceptionally well, highlighting the distinctiveness of the hotel. The hotel lacks clear signage, especially in the pool area, which could lead to confusion. Additionally, the uneven flooring and some facilities show signs of wear and tear, which might pose a risk of accidents for guests. The rooms are beautifully designed, featuring bamboo elements in the decor and furniture. However, over time, the natural properties of bamboo may produce noises that could potentially affect the quality of sleep.

Very helpful staff. 30 min drive from the tourist center of Khao Yao national park. A great hotel to stay if you plan to go for a night safari at Khao Yai. Thai breakfast with wide variety of choices.

Water pressure for shower was weak. Had hot water only 3 minutes. So we ended up having cold showers- not a good feeling. Front desk officers served with no smiles on their faces. The good side of the resort is it’s unique Isaan concept typical of Eastern Thailand. It is tastefully designed, and that’s about it. Hardware is great, but software needs drastic improvements-with staffs poorly trained or worse, with no training at all. Overall a big disappointment.

The water pressure was very low and the shower was lukewarm.

Was told breakfast time is 7.00 AM but it was not ready, Guest are waiting outside and when ask staff they give annoyed expression, if your staff woke up late or something, told guest that breakfast is 7.30 or 8.00!

The property is fine. The upkeep of the room needs attention. The showerhead in my accommodation was broken and the toilet paper hanger was falling off and create sharp edges.

Very clean room, comfy bed. Just a few minutes from entrance to Khao Yai. Staff very attentive. Limited vegetarian breakfast.
