Lovely property, conveniently located to Rittenhouse Square, with great restaurants nearby. Housekeeping is by request and for an additional charge but staff is responsive. Amenities, including their onsite bar and sister property pool are really fun and nice.

Ok

Location was amazing with loads of incredible dining, shopping, and on the square of course! Staff were impeccable, super accommodating and hospitable. We had a 2 king bedroom 2 full bath (newly renovated) room, kitchenette which was perfect for a long girls weekend.

Great front desk and bellmen!

Great location

The place is a shell of what it once was. They did not give me the room I ordered. The front desk staff was never trained properly. very disappointed. Will most likely not return

Friendly staff and super helpful
-
Great location. Has everything we needed - small gym, bar, restaurant, middle of city

All good and in a great area.

very nice hotel near a lot of restaurants nearby

Will be staying there every time we go to Rittenhouse. My only complaint is that across from the toilet there’s a clear glass shelf. That shelf is not placed well. My husband and I both hit our heads on it. I put my red shirt on the shelf so that it was more visible to us and we stopped hitting our heads lol but other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel. We travel frequently and for this to be the only thing that I can say about a hotel is rare.

The room was okay; however there were spiders in the corners on the walls. Pest control should spray more. I also had to call maintenance to drill holes in the window coverings because when the wind blew the panes would bow in and out which made an annoying noise. The air conditioner was way too loud. Perhaps this was because the hotel’s shell is a much older building. There was hair in the shower which was also a disappointment. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating upon my arrival which I appreciated. If I visited Philadelphia again I would choose the other new AKA Rittenhouse to experience a more polished and newer room.

Always enjoy my stay here. Staff, facilities, neighborhood are all top notch.

This is a wonderful hotel - GREAT location and the staff is absolutely incredible. Special call-out to front desk professionals Bianca and Jordan, and bellman, Greg, for their exceptional hospitality. I stayed in a suite that included a full kitchen, decorative fire place, seating area, and private bedroom. The room was well maintained and very clean. This is now my 'go-to' hotel in Philly.

Apartment conversion was very old. bathrooms extremely small.
-
Center City, near restaurants, museums, Rittenhouse Square Only one elevator and it broke during our stay. Suite was comfortable except for the sofa. The most uncomfortable sofa I’ve ever sat on.

Lovely suite

Had a great stay, would stay again and would recommend.

Staff was friendly and professional Extremely small bathrooms. Old building. Paint peeling in places. Dark and cold interiors. Felt like an office building

I’m a high maintenance type of traveler and typically stay in 5 star hotels. That said, AKA was a terrific and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. The 1 bedroom suite was huge and fully furnished (a fully furnished apartment with complete kitchen). The property was clean, staff was super friendly and helpful and there is even a conference center you can use if traveling for work. My only complaint is noise from the street can get fairly loud, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Anywhere in Rittenhouse Square would have noise. I do highly recommend AKA if traveling to Philly, especially if on an extended stay.
