Excellent location right near the main town and close to the ferry port, clean and comfortable accommodation that is great value for money. very friendly lady who runs the place who let me have a shower after checking out, before a late night ferry.

great location; clean. private toilet/shwr although v tight. balcony OK. 15 min. walk to great swimming beach. it's all about value for money . pay less, get no Wifi in the room, no A/c ( sgl room), exterior noise from industrial fans; street grates clacking every time a car went over them 24/7.

Great rooms. Location and rates. Wifi didn’t work in my room. There is no air conditioning (just saying, I didn’t need it and I don’t generally use it)

I loved my stay at Karpathos Hotel so much. Nice hotel in a perfect position, in 10 minutes you are already outside in the middle of the nature, along the coast with woods and mountains. the owner Maria is very friendly, see you again next year ❤️

Great stay! The owner was superb - she let me check in early, and was friendly and kind. The location is excellent.

Hotel Karpathos is exactly what you need if you want to experience the heart of the island. It was cute, quiet, and tucked two streets over from the beach/port. The food next to the hotel was to die for! The owner was so sweet and gracious with her hospitality. Just don't forget to hand your key magnet on the door (like we did) for the AC to blow its super cold air!

Great room with a balcony right in the middle of Pigadia the main port town. Friendly welcome and very clean room.

Very good

The hotel is really old style. Room is essential and very little. The water smells stale. One day we find a german cockroach coming from the toilet. The price is too expensive for the quality but unfortunately it is inflationated as the hotel is in Pigadia.

Perfect location and a very kind lady managing the hotel. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for everything!

The hotel is perfectly located just a few minutes walk from the port and right in the centre of town. Everything you could need is right nearby: restaurants, shopping, supermarkets, laundry services etc. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially at the end of my stay when I needed to store my bags until evening for a late ferry home. The room was very spacious for the price and the facilities were simple but functional. The WiFi connection could be unreliable at times but that wasn't too much of an issue.

Poor

We found a huge cockroach in the room the first day, the woman that eas in charge for the apartment ask as to pay extra for the air-conditioning during the hottest days of the summer. The place wasn't clean at all especially the bathroom

Very nice place in the centre of the city. The stuff was always helpful and kind. Very nice choice if you want to visit Karpathos.
-
it's not that I didn't like it but this place is cash only, for an American traveling and who booked a reservation with a credit card did not expect to pay in cash, this needs to be emphasized clearly or a reminder email to bring cash.

The owner of the hotel is a very friendly elderly lady, who made me feel like I was staying with my grandma :) She would always make tea and share food with me. She offered me to check out late so I didn't have to carry my luggage with me on my last day in Karpathos. The location is perfect, I'm the center of Pigadia, close to the seafront and forest.

- Location - Maria the owner was friendly during all the days I stayed there, but behaved really strange regarding official (!) checkout time. - Very small single room - No normal place for clothes (see photos what's instead) - Dirty sticky surfaces, dirty dishes, stinky fridge, I had to clean them myself to be able to use for couple of days - No WiFi on the second floor. If you need internet, go to the reception area... - No AC, a noisy fan instead. - No normal power sockets (see photos what's instead) - Owners don't follow check out time. Knocking at the door at 8 at the morning and asking when I leave and pay. Owner explained that she plans to go to the hospital and doesn't know when she is back. Okay, everything can happen, I could understand, I paid and told that I leave at 12:00 (official checkout time stated on the booking). Then the owner came once again at 10:00 (!) and took back my room key, so I had to stay until 12:00 without possibility to lock the room. "Nice" service, I have never faced such a strange behaviour in Greece before...

It was clean, cheap and safe with a nice balcony, small fridge and well-located for the port, which is where the action is. The two huge flights of stairs to the room, no lift.

Great location , very good value for money, grandma Mary was super friendly and gave me very nice tips for the island:-)) Best value for money for solo travellers Network connection wasn’t perfect but why someone cares when in Karpathos? ;-)
