Courteous, efficient staff. Good dinner at spaghetteria. Nearby coffee/ bar. Easy walking distance to/from airport. In room amenities limited, eg no tea for hot beverage service.

Convenient, although there are hotels closer to airport. This one was quiet, excellent full service breakfast. Welcoming employees.

Location can’t be beat, and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. Air conditioning worked well enough for us to be grateful for the booking during a hot spell. Clean and featuring a great kitchenette. Beds were fine, if not especially comfy. Pillows quite flat and firm. Air conditioning worked enough to keep us from boiling but didn’t get nearly as low as the thermostat said, and we were still hotter than we would have liked. The towel storage rack in the bathroom needed a tighten and the mini bar was not stocked—neither a dealbreaker for us, but an FYI for the staff.

Excellent location close to the airport (5-10 minute walk). Very friendly staff who speak English. There is a cafe adjoining the hotel that offers breakfast, lunch and apertivo. Parking available for €15 a day (you can pay to park while away on a trip).

Absolutely everything!!!! Great hotel. Standard rooms are big enough and comfortable. Very clean. Airport is 5 minutes walk. Train station is 10 minutes walk away. City center is about 25 minutes walk. We stayed the day before our flight.

Very modern , good size room and bathroom, Bed large and comfortable. Air conditioning excellent. Literally a 5 minute walk to the airport . Very quiet in hotel Flew early in the morning so can’t comment on the breakfast. No real place to eat in the hotel There is a patisserie / cafeteria just outside reception.

My daughter and her friend and I had only planned to spend 1 day at the hotel before returning home, however we discovered a previously planned stay in Castiglioncella was not acceptable so ended up spending 5 nights. The staff, especially Isabella and Sully, both went beyond their rolls to make our stay great. The hotel was clean and easily accessible,by walking, to the airport, train station , shopping, and the attractions in Pisa. The food in the Bistoria was well prepared and presented. This was a first trip to Europe for myself, my daughter and her best friend and enjoyed the stay at Blue Shades and the Pisa area immensely. My room was cleaned and the bed made daily ,however towels were only replaced once, but was not a problem. I would have asked if needed.

We had to change plans halfway through our trip and everyone at the Blue Shades Hotel was extremely friendly and accommodating. It was quiet, clean, and everyone on staff, especially Salle(sp?) the concierge, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and stress free. It is located very close to the airport and train station. I would highly recommend staying at Blue Shades if you are ever visiting Pisa!

My colleague stayed here for a work trip I booked him in for, the feedback was unfortunate: The blinds don’t close, the shower doesn’t work, the tv doesn’t work and there’s been nonstop mosquitoes in here. It’s very run-down and hasn’t been a pleasant experience.

Very accommodating staff. Nicely appointed room, clean and large bathroom. The restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent. Gian Luca, the chef at the Blue Bistrot was excellent. 10 stars! Would definitely stay again!

Location near airport. Bed comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Sparse and modern with irritating flaws such as inability to turn off a light, no remote for TV, toilet roll holder hanging off the wall, no proper side table by bed etc.
