Great location. Room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Pool bar was challenging. They couldn't handle cash transactions without needing to get change, which could take 30 minutes or more.

Location is incredible - on the beach, in the middle of Placencia with easy 5-10 minute walk to all of the Placencia restaurants. Two minute walk to Captain Jak's, one of the premier outfitters for snorkeling and other tours. Very attentive friendly staff, plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas so you can always get shade when you want it. Pool is very nice for adults looking to cool off or small children to play in. (This is primarily an adult hangout - only a few kids while we were there) Our room included a kitchenette and living space with a small sofa. The sofa was uncomfortable and we usually found ourself lying in bed to wind down with Netflix on our iPad because the sofa just wasn't cutting it. Don't expect a nice swimming beach - seaweed is becoming a problem just like so many Caribbean beaches in Cancun.

The Wi-Fi didn't work the whole time we were there and the closet is half a closet with a shelf so you can't really hang things

This place is probably the best place to stay in Placencia. Beachfront, contemporary, good size pool, only 12 rooms, I believe. Even fully booked you do not have the feeling of the place being overcrowded. ... staff went out of their way to make us feel happy and relaxed.... everything was perfect.

Clean, quality amenities throughout the property, friendly and accommodating staff. Love having the pool located between the hotel and the ocean with a well appointed bar. Good size room. One side of the bed was too close to the wall and made it difficult to get in and out of the bed. Would’ve loved to have a small table & 2 chairs on the balcony in addition to the bench.

Right in Palcencia, great for walking to various restaurants.

The property is perfectly located in the heart of Placencia. The room we had was large and very clean. The staff left us personalized hand written letters and we loved them. The entire staff was attentive and kind. The beach on the property is beautiful and well kept.

The service staff was exceptionally nice and kind. The beach was nice to walk on when weather permitted. The room we booked was not as we expected. We booked the King Suite that stated it had a sea view and pool view, and we got a garden view, which was actually a roof top view of other hotels. Within a day or two after our arrival and our complaint, we noticed Booking.com changed the room description for the King Suite to just list it with a "garden view". The overall comfort, especially the balcony furniture, was very uncomfortable and uninviting. There was no privacy on the balcony, from foot traffic walking up to the restaurant or our neighbors, as it was a shared balcony. We happened to have very rainy and windy weather most of our visit, so the balcony was our only option for outside seating that was covered. Management said we were the first to ever bring up our issues and said since we booked through a third party, they could not do anything to fix the problem. Additionally, they said they were sold out, so even though they said they wanted to make it right, they could not. Many people staying there at the same time had the same complaints about comfort and wrong rooms and got the same response from management. They did move us across the hall to the penthouse for the last 36 hours of our stay. The penthouse sat empty the whole week we were there, and they could have moved us the first day if they really wanted to make it "right".

The property was gorgeous! We had direct access to the beach but could lounge by the pool and still see the ocean. There was a bar and restaurant on site that we could visit and charge to our room. The only downside was the safe wasn’t bolted into the wall, so we didn’t use it.

Great location right in the heart of the village. Beautiful pool and beach. Rooms were large and well appointed. Staff was phenomenal! Vanessa is an absolute gem and made our days at the pool perfect! Jacqueline went above and beyond to ensure everything from transportation to Easter egg hunts were taken care of. N/A
