Erato Beach Hotel Adults Only

Super thoughtful staff! Immediate responses and accommodated all our requests with a smile. Cannot fault them. The lady at Reception was so kind and professional. Excellent location, great layout, clean, spacious. Awesome balcony for hanging beach towels. Safe to walk at night. Fully air conditioned. All great- no complaints

Being right near the beach and with the windows open during the night, we faced some disturbances with mosquitoes in the area, however, with insect repellant the other nights, it stopped being an issue.

Amazing location and overall a great hotel

The pilows and the mattresses were very BAD. Must replace it.

Stayed at Erato for one week. Great location, right on the beach. Adults only, so no kids :) Helpful and attentive staff. Our room was one-bedroom apartment with kitchenette. Very nice large room, with balconies in both ends, one facing the sea, one facing inland. Good beds. Cleaning every day, including the dishes. Almost no sunbeds by the pool, and very small pool area. Sunbeds on the beach cost extra, 4 Euros pr. day pr. bed. Not impressed by quality of food and drinks at the beachbar. Wifi was rubbish, all to slow, even when just using the phone. Breakfast: Don't pay for it. Just continental breakfast with one kind of ham, one kind of cheese, strawberry jam, dry bread, orange juice not fresh. Eggs and ham (not bacon). Egg variety changed every day, scrambled eggs, omelette or fried. Unfortunately the scrambled eggs and the omelette were fried completely dry, even burned, and tasted nothing.

Everything was great. The staff was very welcoming from the first moment, very friendly and helpful. The suite was spacious, beautiful, with a great view, very clean. They treated us with some home made deserts which were amazing. We have been in Platania before, but I will never change ERATO with any other hotel. The Beach Bar was another compliment of the hotel. The food was great, service even better, exquisite!!! There is not a single thing we didn’t like about the property.

Check in very good receptionist was very helpful and polite. We were actually upgraded with a junior suite which was very spacious with very large balcony. Good room service hotel was in very good position with all amenities nearby Nothing

Awesome place, really! Everything was as expected or often even better. Very cute hotel, righ behind the beach. Cozy spacious room. Everything is tidy, modern. Were surprised to have kitchenette in the room.

Very good service, good food, nice rooms for the price payed & close to beach The building blocked the sun for some parts of the day while sitting in sunbed by pool, better to be on the beach but that costs extra. Also Wi-Fi was bad.

Staff was friendly and helpful On long beach full of umbrella. Not something for us. Very crowded part of Crete but close to Chania and other nice beaches . Most rooms do not have good view. They changed our room on request but right in front of pool so we barely opened curtains as there were all sun loungers. Basic standard hotel

We loved the location, the room, the service, the adults only policy, and the staff! The only thing would be that the wi-fi signal in our room specifically wasn't that great but it was a known problem that they are trying to address and tbh, it's a very privileged problem and a minor issue when being on vacation

Fabulous hotel. Location and staff and cleanliness are amazing. The restaurant at the hotel and sister restaurant Mamas are top class Loved everything. Could do with more Sunloungers around pool but due to space this is understandable

The room size and the view was excellent. The staff was very nice. The location next to the beach was very good too. Breakfast was too simple, with only a few choices. At the Palace Resort, it was more expensive (20 euros versus 10 euros) but 10 times more choice and better quality. The table in the living room was too far from the electric outlet in the wall. There should be more outlets. When they brought a replacement modem for the Wifi, I did not have a second outlet for my laptop in that room.

The breakfast started rather late for my purposes

2 minutes walk to the beach, polite staff, a bottle of wine as gift. No espresso machine for the breakfast, it is a prepacked coffee that looks strange. No mosquitos net at the terrace door, you cannot even close the terrace door (no handle from the outside) so mosquitos enter the room. Strange set-up of the bathroom: WC, sink, shower, each of them in a separate room. WC door airport style - a 20 cm gap between door and the ceiling, so zero intimacy.

The hotel is located just next to the beach and main street. The staff is amiable and helpful. The breakfast was poor. Limited food choice and coffee quality was low (concentrate-based machine)
