The property is beautiful, and extremely well maintained. Our room was spacious and well appointed, with a very comfortable bed and a well-laid out bathroom with both spa tub and shower enclosure. The room was clean and quiet, and unlike many hotel rooms these days, had furnishings that actually provided spaces for two occupants to sit comfortably and relax. Staff was great, and very responsive to ensure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The hotel is located on the main commercial street of Pleasanton, convenient to local restaurants and shops.

I rarely write reviews, but The Rose Hotel was such a great place to stay I had to leave one. I’ve been staying at hotels in the Bay Area for the past few months due to relocating for work. The Rose Hotel was such a warm and welcoming environment over the cold and sterile places like the big name suite hotels. The staff was wonderful and the room was big and spacious. I’d absolutely stay here again!

We stay at the Rose Hotel every time we come to Pleasanton. It's our favorite hotel by far! The hotel itself is lovely, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is delicious and plentiful. I have no complaints at all and would highly recommend this hotel. It's the best in the area!

The staff were helpful the room was clean albeit very old fashioned. The morning breakfast was disappointing with no cooked breakfast. Only fruits and self serve bread etc. with a bit of salmon. Expect better for the price rate

The Main Street location is great! The decor is old fashioned and fabulous! We had an excellent corner room.
