Tremendously helpful and hospitable hosts. The breakfasts were great. I always enjoy staying in a real house, rather than a chain hotel: this place really satisfied my desires. The twin beds were a little low for my aging bones

Robert and Monique are wonderful people and very hospitable hosts. Very friendly, very beautiful couple. The room was clean, bed linen was perfect. we were enjoyng our garden view and fresh air from the open window. The breakfast was amazing. Homemade eggs, cheeses to choose from, fruits. Five homemade jams and homemade pies baked by Monique. Always hot coffee. Very beautiful serving: crockery, tablecloths, cutlery. We were in love with their stunning home. Highly recommended. The city of Dinard just 7 min by car from La Demeure aux Hortensias. Stunning city by the sea. Must visit. Nothing to say. Everything was perfect!

Fabulous location, wonderful house, an amazing breakfast ! Monique and Robert were charming and friendly hosts. Our room was clean and comfortable overlooking the rear garden. Very comfortable bed, tiny bathroom but clean with nice towels. Lots of little touches from Monique which makes it a very individual hotel. They even served us our breakfast early so that we could leave to catch the morning ferry from St.Malo. Nothing really, it was lovely.

Was made to feel welcome from the start. The breakfast is something like I have never experienced before, what a wonderful spread of food! the hosts even joined us which was lovely. I loved the quirky decor! Two dolls in the hall at first scared me !!! ? but then they were affectionately named “Margot & Maurice” and continue to be included in our conversations. Location, not much in the area, most premises were closed. Bed, two of the four bed in the suit were very small. like children’s beds. perfect if travelling with children.
