Manoir de Rigourdaine

We had an issue about checkout. When asked about breakfast at night, we said 7:30. This seemed to be okay, however the next morning when we went to check out no one was around and we had a tour at 9:00, so we left. I believe it was a language barrier issue, so if staying there, perhaps write to down to make sure things are clear.

The beautiful and peaceful location overlooking the river. Convenient location to local attractions. The dinner served each night was very good and the young lady working the front desk and servicing the restaurant was very pleasant and welcoming.

Location, very charming building and nice room.

The blankets were without duvet covers. The owner of the hotel, who is also the receptionist, is unfriendly.

The location is fantastic. It over looks the river and some lovely countryside. The welcome at check in was great. The room was good. It was on the ground floor, and the back door led out to a little patio area at the back where we could sit and admire the view. The food was fantastic. It's a little weird that the glass back door out to the lawns only has a see through curtain in front of it. Luckily we stayed in late autumn and the hotel wasn't busy, but there are easy chairs out on those lawns and I can imagine in summer people are out there enjoying the late evening sunshine. Therefore, if you have the lights on in your room there is no privacy.

Easy access to motorway and overall great and quiet location. Breakfast was really good. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast from 8 am only. A couple of days ahead of our stay we received a notice that full restaurant was closed due to an event. This was a bit disappointing given there seating in the room was limited and outside spaces were not an option due to the rain. The proprietor was kind enough to provide some additional chairs and table. The room itself was spacious but the staircase was really steep and no fridge.

The staff were extremely helpful, both with information and luggage. A wonderful place to relax after our day tours. Beautiful property. The hotel did provide one dining option-its own restaurant. It was good but choices were very limited and one had to decide on a dinner option prior to the meal as it was being prepared off site. The nearest town with restaurants is Dinan, which took us about 30 minutes to drive.

We liked the fact that we had a personal welcome when we arrived and throughout our stay. The people who worked there seemed happy and motivated and the food was sourced locally as much as possible. Nothing

Lovely room and setting No restaurant

Beautiful setting, bedroom spacious, great shower and delicious breakfast. It is remote and you will need a car.

It's 19 rooms. Old Manor. Family run. Convenient free parking. They have electric vehicle charging. Breakfast €17 per head we did not partake. Our room faced river. Moon shine at night. Sunrise morning. We arrived 24 hours late. Flight was cancel from London Gatwick to Rennes by Easyjet. We try to reschedule from four nights to three nights but was rejected. So we still pay as original booking.

Beautiful location and stunning views Nothing much but there was no food on a Sunday or Monday eve and Bfast was not til 8.30 am
