The staff were exceptional - so professional and friendly nothing was too much bother. The Spa was excellent alongside the breakfast. There were quite a number of Ants around doors (spa area) which were quite off putting.

Beautiful setting. Close to Plymouth centre. Easy parking. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and approachable. The spa was amazing and the water temps excellent and enjoyable. Outstanding room, comfortable bedding and great room temperature. Great toiletries and our room was spotless. It was more than I would normally spend but it really was worth it! The general areas were not as well maintained. Empty toilet rolls in main toilet in foyer, some rusty vents in treatment areas of spa. Other guests taking photos and go pro videos in the spa ruined the feel and there were so many midges in the sunning area that we ended up leaving early because we were constantly swiping and it wasn’t relaxing. Lift was broken in spa area and more signage would be great around the spa. There is signage but it wasn’t clear. Start here, then go here etc would have made it more enjoyable.

Atmospheric, historical building. Pleasant, helpful staff. Unaffordable wine list in brasserie restaurant.

Beautiful property, stayed many times great grounds, restaurant and pool The standard room is quite small and lacks air conditioning, featuring only a small double bed. The room was incredibly hot (July) and the small portable fan simply circulated warm hot air. Additionally, I was disappointed to find mould in the shower

Room was nice, facilities around the hotel were good. Setting and location was lovely. Nice bar area and very clean. I found the food was acceptable but the quality wasn’t great for the price. I felt breakfasts and evening meals were of an average standard but very expensive for what you get.

Everything, it was stunning. Nothing really, the bathroom needed a little attention because the shower felt like it was going to fall off the wall.
