Perfect for the location / price point. I needed a clean room in a good location, and that’s exactly what this is.

Beautiful lodging, incredible location, friendly staff and great breakfast. One of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed. The terrace and sea views were epic. It’s a great location, but can be a bit noisy late at night.

Location, location, location. This B&B is perfect. Our hosts were excellent! The breakfast was delicious! Our suite was top notch with a phenomenal view. Nothing. We very much enjoyed our visit!

Carlo was a fantastic host….10/10!!!! He is very kind and communicative, and speaks excellent English. Check-in/Check-out was a breeze. The two minor questions/issues I had during my stay he responded to and addressed immediately. The apartment could not be any more beautiful or in a better location. There is a small balcony off the bedroom, which I did not use because it faces the front of the apartment where a ton of tourists are constantly walking by and speaking/laughing very loudly. The front of the apartment is steps away from one of the best views of the coast, so there is a ton of foot traffic. There is an exceedingly spacious and gorgeous terrace on the rooftop, which I much preferred and spent most of my time when I was not exploring. It has sea views and is very peaceful. The bedroom was a good size and the mattress and pillows were comfortable enough. The kitchen has a stove, which I did not use, as well as plates, cups, wine glasses/opener, etc. The fridge is very large by European standards, which was nice. It also has a small freezer. Carlo offers breakfast for a minimal fee, which is conveniently located in the apartment directly below. He also offers a pasta making class at the same location, which I participated in and enjoyed. Carlo showed great patience, as I learned that I am not very good at making pasta. The additional participants enhanced my experience. He served many delicious side dishes along with the perfect wine, which between those and the pasta we made, was enough to fill my belly and I did not need to go seek out dinner. The WiFi is very spotty, which along with my poor phone signal, made prolonged internet use (watching videos) difficult. I highly recommend downloading Polignano a Mare on Google Maps before your arrival. The stairs to the apartment are quite steep, both to the apartment and inside, but that’s to be expected in Europe. Great communication with host, lovely suite with rooftop terrace and view from bedroom, all full of charming character. Nice and warm in winter, which is not always the case and much appreciated. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable.

I would love to come back and stay more than the one night I needed before attending a retreat nearby. The view and the space were priceless! Also the hosts were very friendly and responsive to questions I had.

The location was fantastic - right in the centro storico - only accessible via walking. Our room had a view of the sea and a small balcony we could look out from. Check-in was easy and there was a reception area where we obtained our keys from.

Carlo and staff were amazing. Location is perfect and the breakfast had the best Americana coffee of the entire trip. We will be back!

Incredible everything.

If you see this property available—BOOK IT! My friend and I were unbelievably lucky to snag a last-minute cancellation, and it turned out to be the highlight of our summer trip. The property itself is a little slice of paradise, we had the sea view suite. Every room has a balcony, we could enjoy the best sea views 24/7. What truly makes it special is the host, Carlo. He was not only welcoming and kind but also incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout our stay. My friend even joined his cooking class and learned to prepare authentic local dishes—a memory we’ll treasure forever. This place is a rare gem, and I’d come back every year if I could. Thank you, Carlo, for making our stay so unforgettable!

Lovely clean and comfortable room in the most amazing location. The roof with a view of the sea was incredible for watching the sunset. We were so sad to leave!

This is a must. carlo and team are fantastic, location, rooms, breakfast first class- friendly and helpful. Breakfast in morning is 5 star italian. Look no furrher. Too short of a stay ?

The breakfast was delicious, the location was great and the room was very comfortable. There were a lot of stairs to go up to get to the room, which is fine if you have a small suitcase, but difficult with a large suitcase as the stairwell is narrow. The shower looks beautiful, but is difficult to get wet under.
