Villa delle Rose Pompei Rooms and Suite

Great location, short walk to bus stops, shops and Pompeii ruins Breakfast was provided but was only a pastry and coffee. A bit more variety would be good

This is one of those giant apartments that's been cut up into a guesthouse. It's on the first floor and there is no lift/elevator, but that's clearly stated in the posting. This was an incredible value for the low price! The surrounding neighborhood is busy, the parking lot by the entrance is dirty with trash and an abandoned building, but inside the guesthouse is fine, with everything white and fairly basic. My room had a private bathroom. The staff is very nice and helpful. It's less than 1 KM to the main piazza in Pompeii (which was surprisingly beautiful) or, in the other direction, to the main architectural ruins. The walk from the train station is about 1 KM on a busy road with the usual Italian sidewalk problems. (The property obviously isn't responsible for this and I'm not criticizing them for it!) The vouchers for breakfast are at a nearby cafe on the way to the ruins and includes coffee and a pastry. Other than the condition of the property outside the house, I had no negative reaction.

The location is just a short walk from the Pompeii ruins. The room was simple, but clean. The door never properly locked. If you pushed hard enough on our room door, it would pop open because the door mechanism was made of plastic.

The location to the train station and the archeological site is good. The room had a mouldy smell, the walls are paper thin (the other guests voice is heard though the wall). The room had a faint smoking smell… Zero view from the room.

The breakfast is a voucher to a location 5 minutes away, so I would not rely on breakfast as a quick thing.

The hot water in the shower was intermittent. We did not get check-in information until after we arrived, which made things difficult. The online directions took us to the back of the property rather than the front. We were told we could leave our overnight bag while we explored Pompeii, but weren't told where despite repeated requests - so ended up having to take it with us.

The location is great, just a few minutes walk from the Archaeological Park of Pompei. The room is good and quiet, the bathroom is spacious and nice. Parking is very valuable as it's rare in such proximity to the site and city center. Some minor touches to the bathroom, like hooks for towels and some shelves to put stuff on, would help. I guess they will do it, since the bathroom looks recently renovated. The included breakfast is a voucher for coffee and a croissant (both are great) in a coffee house, which is a ~5-minute walk, so no going back to the room after breakfast.

Location is very close to the Pompeii ruins entrance (Just 500metres walking) Looks like recently renovated - spotless. Comfortable double-bed and kids bunker-beds. Breakfast is provided in the nearby Cafe (a croissant and a coffee). Nearby restaurant Mario's serves tasty Pizza There is nice coffee machine. But there is glass/ceramic cups but only plastic cups are available. No kitchen(just for your information). I don't need kitchen for holidays in Italy.

The location is good, but it was a bit difficult to find on Google Maps. Inside, the noise from the neighboring rooms and hallway can be heard.

The room is clean and has everything you need. There are a microwave and a small coffee machine at the corridor for all the guests The sink in the bathroom was unfortunately leaking.

It was very nice and clean. Valentina was friendly and helpful. It is very close to the Marina gate of the Pompeii excavation site but also close to the city centre where the restaurants are. Also, the owners allowed me to stay one extra night on short notice. The welcome instructions I received by SMS were helpful. It was extremely cold in early March and the heating didn’t work. There was no tea and the breakfast was very limited, I didn’t use it.

It’s a very newly furnished property. Was exceptionally clean and a very good size. Bathroom. Was amazing Tea and coffee machine didn’t work well but I managed to get a drink from it!
