Dionysos Hotel

Great hotel on a beautiful Greek island with a great location. Close enough to everything, far enough from the hustle. George was an awesome host. Can’t wait to come back. Not a thing!

Kind and generous staff. Wonderful, clean and spacious rooms. Daily breakfast and service was perfection… we will definitely be back. 10/10 recommend! Everything was spectacular!

This was a wonderful stay for four nights. George was so friendly and helpful, providing us with recommendations and checking in each day. The taverna downstairs provided a great breakfast each morning, and even went out of their way to ensure my traveling companion and I both had spanakopita in the morning. I have been to Poros before, but this was hands down the best stay on the island!

Nice colonial style house. Good location. Big room. View. No hot water. Very high noice from the road all night. Facilities, furnitures need refreshments

Great staff (geoege was very helpful), the room was super nice with a great view of the sea.

Right across from the ferry terminal and an easy walk along the promenade to tavernas, cafes and shops. The room was very comfortable and we had a shared terrace overlooking the water. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We absolutely loved our stay at Dionysus. The room was huge and extremely clean. The beds were comfy and the shower was good. All of the staff were lovely and so helpful (we particularly liked Fani (spelling?). Nothing bad to say. There is some street noise but that’s to be expected on the main road.

We had a triple room with a Sea view. The room was absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean. I originally had booked the double room without a view and decided to upgrade for the Seaview and the slightly larger room and very happy I did. There is no elevator in the property, which we knew -but the reception for the hotel, the breakfast area and beautiful outdoor Terrace facing the harbor and also our upgraded room with the Seaview was a gentle climb of some very wide outside steps to the main entrance which is on the side of the hotel. We are arrived from the high-speed ferry from Athens in the afternoon, but there was no one in the reception and no signs to tell us to go back down to the ground level restaurant and let someone know we arrive so they could give us our key and show us the room. We are an elderly couple and my husband is handicap, but we had no problem if we just took it slow going up the exterior steps to the hotel entrance.

We liked everything about this hotel, the location, the service, the cleanliness, everything was perfect.

Exceptional

Theis hotel is very well located just in front of the harbor and free public parking. It is ideal if you travel with your own car. It has just been thoroughly renovated. The staff is very agreable, there is a handy coffee shop at the ground floor. Although it has been renovated, the mattresses were not really comfortable, the shower had a silly system for temperature control.
