Harbour Inn
About Harbour Inn
Overlooking Portleven Harbor, The Harbor Inn offers spacious rooms with private bathrooms. With free parking and free Wi-Fi, there is also a traditional restaurant, a cozy bar and sea views. The large rooms at Harbor Inn are bright and airy, and many offer views across Portleven Bay. All rooms feature tea and coffee facilities, a TV and hairdryer, and some have a comfortable seating area. The bar is popular with local fishermen, and offers a selection of locally brewed ales including the award-winning St Austell. The restaurant serves a seasonal menu, which regularly features freshly caught fish. There is entertainment in the bar on Friday and Saturday evenings until 23:00 and a quiz night on Thursday evenings. Located on the water’s edge, The Harbor Inn Hotel is just steps from Portleven Coastal Path. Flambards Theme Park is just a 10-minute drive away, and The Goonhilly Earth Station can be reached in 20 minutes. Penzance is also 20 minutes away.

Restaurant had an excellent dish (laksa) that I loved, room had a great little sitting area, cookies were excellent, and so many cool pieces of old antique art, breakfast was great too, bartender was wonderful and recommended a wonderful cider. A lot of stairs to our room

We loved this Inn. Its location is beautiful with ships, ice cream, great restaurants. The room, though not big, was very nicely decorated. It had the best bed and bed linens of our entire stay. Bathroom was great with nice hot water, shelving, great shower pressure. There was a mini fridge (only place that had one for my medicine), a desk, chair, closet, 2 night tables, nice size tv. The food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was great. Staff friendly and welcoming and helped with luggage upstairs as there is no lift. Parking is limited. We did fine but in the summer, it might be rough. The only thing I’d change if I was them as this was a little awkward, you check in in the restaurant itself. As we got in during dinner service, you are walking in with luggage, coats, wet umbrellas and everyone stares at you. They do have a small foyer with a door to the outside to the left of the main entrance which if they placed the portable desk there, would seem to make a better entrance rather than the restaurant. Just a minor thing and we loved the hotel.

amazing breakfast. great bathroom. pub downstairs is quaint but no noise travels upstairs. would definitely recommend! room is a little small for 2 people, but we managed.

Great location and comfortable rooms. We had a remote that was not working and we had to ask three times to please get a replacement. The staff were very busy and not as attentive as at other hotels.

The location and the building. The inside of the property would benefit from a renovation.

Location and room was fantastic. Couldn't have asked for better Cleaners noisy in bar every morning so we were up early with no lie in possible. Local seafood options were amazing in restaurants around harbour.
