Very good value for money. Hotel room was clean and safe. Lots of shops and restaurants around. Close to train station in Portici. Lovely patio/terrace area accessible to guests. Beds could have been more comfy but were fine, again, decent value for money. Breakfast (coffee + many flavors of croissant) very pleasant and the bar staff was great. Unpleasant incident with the manager at check-in left a bad taste in our mouths. She tried to refuse to give us a receipt for the tourist tax (illegal in Italy) and then accused us of not wanting to pay the tax when my brother literally had the cash in his hand ? then she called the owner and they both screamed at us for not trusting them (yeah... we don't know you?) And they threatened to call the police. But surprise! They didn't because they knew we were right, and when we called their bluff, we could magically pay and get the receipt at the bar. They clearly thought that dumb foreigners would roll over for them, but I have family in Naples and they picked the wrong one. I fully expect the manager to reply to this review in the same unhinged tone she used in person. She is hands down the worst hotel employee I've ever interacted with in years of traveling. The rest of our stay was pretty good. Just don't get scammed or let them dodge their taxes and blame you!

Location was a bit of a doubt at first but is perfect to visit all the sites around the area of Naples. The lighting in the room was too bright, the desklamp was as bright as the other 2 lights.

Good place to park. Room on ground floor was handy. Breakfast at bar across the street was good and staff were friendly. Room was larger than most. Hard to find host or staff. No office so only a phone connection to find out how or where to get checked in. Parking area was rented out the night we arrived so we had to find another place to park at our expense until 10 PM at our expense.

We enjoyed our stay at the Villa Filu! The rooms were always cleaned, the AC and shower both worked perfectly fine. The owner was very helpful and open to any questions. The Cafe was a nice place for breakfast and a good way to start the morning. Portici itself is a cute city with way less tourism than Naples, which makes it perfect for exploring and experiencing the local life. Can recommend!

A nice, smart, little albergo. Comfortabe and clean. Good value. Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Splendid cafe/bar across the road. With Vesuvius at one end of the street and the Bay of Naples at the other end what is not to like? For me there was no downside. All good.

Very good location close to transports to main attractions in and around Naples, and with parking place (10 euros per day). Very nice courtyard/garden, with tables and places to relax. Breakfast in the bar in front of the villa, with excellent coffee and croissants. The hosts were extremely responsive and answered all the questions we had. It was nice to have a fridge and a small common area with a kitchen. The rooms are a bit minimalistic, but if you need something just ask the hosts!

The neighbourhood is pleasant. Even if the cleaning lady didn’t speak English, she was nice and patient with us. Good access to public transport. A good private parking but it’s 10€/day. The bed is smaller than excepted for 2 people. We get our breakfasts in front of the apartment in a bar (looking and tasting good by the way). Minus : the waitresses were always grumpy with us.

A great location just outside of Naples near the circumvensuvia railway station to stop off to visit Herculaneum at Ercolano on your way to Sorrento. The rooms were very clean with comfortable beds and the breakfast provided free of charge of coffee and croissant across the road was very good. There’s also a lovely pizzeria called Comes a two minute walk away and a great shopping area close to the property. Great stay would stay again when we visit this area next time. Ample parking inside locked gates for large cars or campers is provided for an additional 10 € a day. There could have been tea and coffee provided in the kitchen for when the coffee shop across the road is closed.

The host was really very friendly and even greeted us in person upon our arrival. She also arranged a free, super delicious breakfast everyday during our whole stay at the café right across the street. It was always possible for us to contact our host and make individual arrangements with the very friendly cleaning staff according to our preferences. There was also a small shared kitchen that could be used with a fridge, microwave and two oven plates which was a big plus The room has all the basics needed for a short vacation but not necessarily more (small room, small bed). There were also a few spots in the bathroom where the cleanliness could be improved.

Well placed out of Napoli and if you want to visit Pompeii and the Vesuv. Nice neighborhood. Cozy garden and great with privat parking. The room felt a bit run down. Friendly welcome by the owner who unfortunately doesnt speak english. Very simple breakfast
