the whole experience was wonderful !!!

Very bad experience in this portland hotel，when we go inside the room，the bathroom ceiling is falling off，lots of water on the ground，tissue box is empty，when we check in at the hotel on Jun.19th evening after a long drive，the staff did not mention anything to us，poor communication between the cleaning team and management team，so we end up have bring all the luggage downstairs again to request another room，the reception staff offer us change into one king size bed with a futon rather than 2 queen beds we original request，but we have 3 people，the futon is not quiet comfortable as bed，overall the whole experience was terrible，not recommended！

The room was clean and effective for my family. It was basic but enough for a place to sleep. The tub didn’t have a stopper so that was hard for my son, who usually takes baths. There was only one towel for the shower. The bed was comfortable and good ac. Breakfast was amazing, even had biscuits and gravy!

My opinion of my stay at the hotel was good. In fact, it would be a good option for me again when I return to Portland. Overall, everything was fine: the breakfast, the rooms, the facilities, etc. The only thing I noticed was that there was an American guest drinking alcoholic beverages in the hot tub. Then they started criticizing other guests who were enjoying the pool. I think those areas should be better regulated or supervised, and guests shouldn't be allowed to bring in any kind of drinks or play loud music.

There was some sort of gnat or fruit fly problem in my room. There were lots of small bugs flying around to the point I was super uncomfortable falling asleep because I could feel them land on me and just felt that skin crawling feeling of knowing you're surrounded by bugs. They were all dying quickly too so every morning the bathroom counter was covered in dead bugs. The windows were also very poorly insulated so I could hear every single train and plane that passed by the hotel, some much louder than others and some that woke me up late at night or very early in the morning. There was even a shoe box left in the closet from previous guests. Definitely not the best hotel in the area.

It was new and very clean. Nice soft bedding. Decent breakfast and only 15 minutes from the airport. A little far from the city proper.

The bed was comfy. Employees were nice. Breakfast was decent. There was rotting food in the pool area. It wasn’t cleaned up, even the next day after we checked out. There were adults getting drunk in the hot tub all evening. I think some of them were employees. They just put up a sign that said “hot tub out of order” so no one else could go in. Food service Hair nets, crusty bandaids, and random items in the pool. It was disgusting. I brought my 4 year old here and left the pool. I only stayed here for the pool. Wish I would have stayed elsewhere. Also no one would fix our TV remotes so don’t count on watching TV while you’re here either.

We were there for 3 nights, no one ever clean the room we had to ask for more towels, I saw the cleaning lady ask if she was cleaning the room that day, she said yes, but never did she just add towels

Breakfast and checking OUT!!! The staffs response to moldy shower curtain, and dirty bed sheets, to potential guest, please be sure to read reviews about this hotel before deciding to stay! Also the pool and spa area are unsanitary and good luck finding a clean towel as this is one of the low budget holes that seem to scrimp and scrape by on the bare minimum. I was told to enter the green seaweed Spa and greasy pool at my own risk by the angry Ethiopian girl with braids at the front desk, she was SUPER RUDE! Management DOES NOT care about you as a customer and will write fake responses addressing your concerns but will NOT take any action. So if you are looking for a LOW budget Unfriendly hotel that only cares about their bottom line, then the Holiday Inn Express & Suites at Jantzen Beach in Portland Oregon is your absolute best stop!! Enter at your own risk! Thank you Jantzen Beach Holiday Inn Express & Suites YOU SUCK AZZ PLUS TAX!! And don't bother writing me back in response you know for a fact this is ABSOLUTELY TRUE and as a guest I was made to endure this HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE even after You had every photo and email. I was Told by the front desk when asked for clean sheets as stains were on my bed sheets super gross!!! to take my sheets off the bed and sleep on the mattress, when I asked for a non moldy shower curtain and was given a clean one but told to put it up myself cause they aren't maintenance ? customer service at its best! NOT!! Potential guest you have been WARNED ⚠️ If you are looking for POOR service in the GHETTO of Portland let this be your first choice!!! This was my first and absolute ? LAST time I chose this location by mistake as their are two close by, the one by the river is much nicer, cleanliness is there main focus and they appreciate their guest! INSTEAD Choose: Holiday Inn Portland by the Colombia-Riverfront you cannot go wrong!

We love the location, we loved that the parking was easy, the hotel was nicely appointed and had plenty of USB ports of all sizes in the room. We also enjoyed the breakfast.

Out television in the main room didn't work our entire stay. The gym did not have sanitation wipes or towels until I requested them.

Breakfast was good and room was spacious with comfortable bed. Pool had large clumps of hair floating in it the entire time, indicating lack of filtration. Never towels in pool area and even front desk had limited towels available. Toilet in our room didnt flush right. Difficult to regulate temperature in our room...upon arrival, thermostat set to 65 and windows was open so it was freezing.

There was free parking. Room was not fully cleaned, I booked this because of the hot tub and it was not working in my birthday, there were screaming outside my room. Not a great experience.
