Hotel Balocco

The breakfast was delicious and bountiful with many choices. The staff in the breakfast were also very accommodating and prepared boxes the morning we left for an early flight. Gorgeous pool area with really great food. Room had a terrace and it was our gathering space for our stay. Beautiful stay!

We loved our stay here. Spectacular views of Porto Cervo and beautiful hotel with wonderful balcony views. They were about to close the place for winter and they were still very helpful and accommodating. It is a bit of a walk, an unsafe one, to the town of Porto Cervo but i am pretty sure they have a shuttle service. We walked but the town was closed for the season.

My husband and I booked Hotel Balocco for the second leg of our honeymoon and I'm so glad we did! It absolutely exceeded our expectations in every way. First of all, the staff was incredible throughout our stay. They were kind and informative -- helping us secure a scooter and providing recommendations for meals and activities. The pool is beautiful -- even better than the pictures -- with a pretty insane view of the sea below. There's a fitness center (indoor/outdoor) just below the pool deck that has everything you need. The food at all of the restaurants onsite -- particularly the poolside restaurant which hosts the breakfast -- is fabulous. Parking onsite if you have a car but I'd also highly recommend considering a scooter rental during your stay. We took ours to dinner, shops and the beach every day. The hotel partners with a company that will drop one off and pick it up right from the hotel. We will be coming back! We really loved everything!

Food was pretty fine. Rooms are dated. Lights flickered the entire time. Maintenance came to fix them three times, he just moves the wires around to fix them, then they start flickering again after a few minutes when he leaves.

Room Was amazing for the size in the area. Most hotels are so expensive in that area and this hotel gave a huge room for the money. Some items at the free breakfast are not free.

Breakfast is good, you have plenty of options. Room was clean and comfortable. The personnel from the bar at the pool are very friendly the carpet from the hallways of the hotel. They are very old and damaged.

Everything about Balocco was amazing. The staff were very nice and polite. They helped us with really good recommendations on the restaurants in Porto Cervo. We’ve received an upgrade and we have stayed in a really good and beautiful room, clean, large and with comfortable beds. The terrace and the view were amazing. We have enjoyed the charm of Sardegna. The breakfast was great. They have a variety of food you can choose from.

Amazing views of Porto Cervo. Picturesque hotel. Delicious breakfasts accompanied with great views. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful with restaurant/beach recommendations. Complimentary room upgrade on arrival which was a lovely surprise and start to the holiday. Can’t wait to return! Nothing! Everything was perfect.

Beautiful views. Nice breakfast. Beautiful garden and nice place in the swimming pool area. Gored location. Beautiful architecture and design of the hotel and it’s garden but rooms our outdated. Our room was at the level of the garden; because of the beautiful plants there came no sun in our room and it was humid.

The property surpassed my expectations, it looks even more beautiful in reality than the photos on web . The costal and minimalist decor really appealed to me and made it unique . We had a triple room 304 which was very big and at pool level with a nice terrace and two full bathrooms which we weren’t expecting . The sceneries and the landscaping from this hotel was fabulous. But what was even more enjoyable ,was how pleasant and helpful the staff at Hotel Balocco was , starting with the reception staff Augustino and Roberto and the breakfast staff ,Luciano and Evalyn, just to name a few but all staff were courteous and friendly. Their restaurants and site recommendations were spot on . We spent 6 nights at this wonderful place and were sad to leave . The breakfast that was included was plentiful and delicious fresh fruit , baked goods ,eggs cheeses and meats as well as cereals and yogurts and homemade jams . They even have their own bio garden . Also a small gym overlooking beautiful vistas and massages and beauty spa . It was the best venue to visit Costa Smeralda, based near the beautiful town of Porto Cervo . Nothing

Pool was very nice, free parking, breakfast buffet was great, very quiet. Room was a little humid and had a strange smell.

The views were stunning , the staff were delightful . The buffet breakfast was excellent and there were several restaurants a short distance walk away . It was very quiet in the evenings - they didn’t seem to make the most of the bar area and the wonderful night time panoramic views . It would have been nice to have a rink in the bar before going out to supper but it didn’t open until 7.30 . It’s only a very small point . You really need a car to stay here .
