The breakfast was more than we were expecting! —

The thermal pools and pool area were very nice. The rock hard beds and flat pillows. No a/c during our stay and mosquitoes at night.

Not much to like except location was ok. It was hardly 2 star place so no way this was a 4 star hotel on Booking.com. Very misrepresented advertisement on your app. It was an old, rundown and badly maintained hotel. Room was not clean. Unhelpful staff and bad breakfast. There was nothing good about this place. Last time book here.

This was a great clean hotel with breakfast, centrally located, nearby shops, restaurants, and a walk from Ischia Port. The rooms are pretty good size, the staff were all amazing making our vacation as wonderful as can be. From Ernesto the bartender, to the ladies at the front desk, to the kind, English speaking extremely helpful front desk manager, and finally to the restaurant manager who was so accommodating, gave me a tray of food to take to the room because my teenagers were sleeping and not feeling so great. Hotel is located 10min walk from beach. It is not very far and there is cold pool on site.

The receptionists were nice. Old, decaying decor, dark rooms with even darker hallways. The restaurant had seen better days, dark and the food was awful. The clientele and most of the hotel staff seemed to be from the 1985 movie “Cocoon”. The spa was disorganized, staff insufficient and rude. Towels were old, stained and rough as sanding paper. The bed sheets and bed cover seemed to be stained with what appeared to be blood among other things. Bathing caps are mandatory at the pools, but you find out once you get there, they make you buy them and if you need a bath robe you must bring one or else you must rent one from them, the same goes for the towels to be used at the pool or at the beach-you cannot take out the towels from the room. The interior rooms face each other’s balconies, which again are old and dilapidated just like the clientele, as well as even darker than the outside facing rooms. The shutters on the balcony were missing some Louvre blades so mosquitos came in my room at night and you completely closed the doors, it would get hot inside since the A/C was not operative yet. (some Italian law). I have never stayed at such an awful hotel in my life. Even the keys were old and left a rancid scent on your hands due to the heavy brass bar attached to it. Oh, and barking dog and a very loud parrot woke me up every morning.

Lovely decor. Good location. Enjoyable pools. The WiFi does not work. Towels were old and rough, need to be replaced. Need to clean under the beds, lots of dust.

Everything: the location-10minutes walk from the port and the bus station and the narrow streets of the town centre. The thermal facilities that you can easily access from 7am till 9pm both indoor and outdoors. The outdoor pools with hot springs, the staff, the food served and the Hotel itself. Nothing.

Superb

Meals offered good with choices. Attentive and pleasant service. Room just about big enough to swing a cat, but comfortable and clean. Except for the Italian pillows.

The hotel was in a great location. The thermal pools were novel. The hotel is quite quirky. The room was an ok size with a nice balcony. The pool and communal areas were quite dirty. Breakfast was a bit odd and the eggs were not replenished often. The staff weren't very friendly. The worst thing was the bed and pillows, I've never slept on such an uncomfortable thing. The pillows are rock hard to the point they hurt your ears. We had barely any sleep as its so uncomfortable. When we checked in the woman says everything is complimentary apart from the swimming caps that everyone has to wear. On the 2nd day we noticed everyone had robes so my husband went to enquire, at no point did she mention money just handed them over. Upon checkout we discovered they were 6 euros each to hire. For a manky stained robe that's ridiculous really, if you have to pay they should tell you! Also very odd to not have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Superb

Breakfasts are Italian style, with lot of sweet pastry. Nice and strong coffee or cappuccino on request. Very polite and professional waiters. Clean and well maintained pools are good standard here for a long time. Hotel location is convenient in the heart of Ischia Porto, near to grocery and bus stop, location safe due to police station nearby. Reception professional, kind and very helpful. Happy to return back soon. I would recommend to install a plaques with water type/content description, however I believe this information is available at reception on request.

Unfriendly, greedy place

Clean and the staff were lovely. The location was perfect for our purposes. On the first night our air con broke but they found us another room for the night and it was fixed the following morning. Breakfast was a bit confusing if you were only bed and breakfast but Enzo (restaurant manager) took us under his wing. The lift isn’t currently working.
