Almada Story Apartments by Porto City Hosts

It was a great apartment in the center of town with a kitchenette, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and an air conditioner. For the price, the apartment far exceeded my expectations. The staff was also very nice and accomodatiing and had a place for me to drop my luggage before check in. The light in the hallway with the elevator. Couldn't find my room at first it was so dark. Then I couldn't see to open the lock box. There are light switches there in the hallway but they are not marked or easy to find so I struggled in the dark longer than I should have had the lighting situation been better.

Very comfy bed. Air conditioned. Spacious. Elevator. Safe neighborhood. Central location was great except Friday and Saturday nights. Portuguese like to party.

Apartment was in a great location, it could be a little noisy at night but the shutters blocked most of the noise. Supermarkets were nearby and plenty of great eateries. All the sights were in walking distance. Given we stayed for 2 weeks a change of sheets and extra towels would have been nice. There were insufficient bathroom supplies provided and a broom or dustpan would have been handy.

It seemed clean enough. There was a slightly strange smell in the property. The extractor fan of the bathroom was extremely loud. Everything provided seemed of cheap quality. It took a lot of phone calls and messaging to get access to the property.

Good location, easy access, good communication pre arrival. Prompt response to any messages (including late at night ) Comfortable bed. Everything worked well. Not enough pans for cooking, frying pan needs replacing. Mattress Protector (waterproof) was turned the wrong way on the bed. Possibly because it disguised the stains ! It was replaced promptly the following day with two extra sheets. I understand it was Sunday so laundries not working. I hope it will get replaced with the correct type of protector. No service or change of towels for a 5 night stay ? No information on recycling or how to use oven , washing machine etc ..only QR code which did not work for us. Just gave us advertising .

It was a very nice apartment right in the centre of the city, close to everything that was needed.

The location, easy walking to the big metro station, and a large supermarket. Nothing comes to mind

Excellent location

Friendly and accommodating staff at property management.

It seemed a bit sparse. No fans/dehydrators for circulation. There were few amenities. The coffee pods provided did not for the machine. Very very loud with the dumpsters right outside the window. The shower was clogged.

Well located and better than hotel rooms in terms of size for budget. Helpful staff. The place needs maintenance. The pillows were old and lumpy. The couch was broken. The towels thin. All okay but needs a little overhaul by an attentive staff member.

the property was in a fantastic location and the building felt extremely safe. The room is spacious! Wish the AC worked

Clean and as described Nothing

A well equipped flat in a good location for cafes and restaurants and not far from the metro station. With the windows open the neighbouring restaurants were quite noisy at night.

What a fantastic stay! Nice clean apartment, and excellent location. Nice building, very nice staircase. Very comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Everything was good. A washing machine would be great, but there was a very low priced self-serve laundromat that was close by. The street can be pretty noisy at times . I got woken up by people yelling a couple of times, and a dumpster being hauled away at 7 a.m. but that has nothing to do with this wonderful apartment.
