Location, the styling, the staff and outlook were all amazing. Communication was excellent and nothing was ever a problem. Highly recommend to all as will only enhance your stay in Porto. Only regret was…we couldn’t stay longer.

It was a beautiful rustic room with a small courtyard for us to enjoy. The staff were friendly and helpful Minor smell coming from under the sink

Great location and the staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel is super old and the pictures are not really representative of the renovation which has been kept to the bare minimum. Our room smelled bad, walls appeared to be rusty and in general everything had an old look and feel. We only stayed for the first night of our stay then an army of ants suddenly flooded the walls of the room coming all the way from the balcony door through to the bedroom and ending up in the bathroom. The manager offered to move us to a nearby hotel for the remained of our stay in Porto which was nice of him but definitely an experience we would have preferred to avoid.

Perfect location for a few days in Porto. Very nice rooms with tasteful individual interior design. We were three people in two different rooms and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The staff was very friendly, from reception to breakfast service, everyone was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was also very good, you could order eggs and there was everything else you need for a good start of the day. Good coffee too. All in all a really good experience and an absolute recommendation for a Porto city trip. The street was quite busy at some nights.

​We recently stayed here and had a great experience from start to finish. If you are looking for a hotel that combines a prime location with genuine care for guests, this is the place. Having a fresh,including hot cook-to-order eggs breakfast was the perfect way to start each morning.

Beautiful room

Room itself was lovely, big, opening to a small private garden area, with huge bed. It was quiet. Nice staff. Good location. The bathroom had no door. Toilet only had semi-transparent glass door. I had asked beforehand to have a room with proper bathroom door, and we were told there are such rooms in the hotel, so it's hard to understand why we were put in this specific room. Breakfast choice was limited, no nuts, dried fruit, alternative milk, no hot dishes apart from eggs.

Location and the room was fabulous, I couldn't fault how nice this was and the staff were lovely. I knew from other reviews that there was no wardrobe for hanging clothes but I need to mention it here as I think it affects the effectiveness of the accommodation, especially if you're staying for a number of days. I think it could be fixed easily.
