We walked in thinking that this was a liquor store because of the wines on the shelves before discovering that we were in the right place. We loved our time at Rosa et al., this quirky, unique and beautifully designed boutique hotel in a low key but vibrant neighborhood. Our room was beautiful, spacious, with an outdoor terrace, high ceilings, and floor to ceiling shutters and precious attention to detail, combining modern design seamlessly with the surroundings in this renovated townhouse. The breakfasts were huge and delicious as they make everything on site and is also associated with a sister restaurant nearby called Early. We’d love to stay here again if we could. Be warned that there is no elevator service and the wooden floors creak. Also, we found the lighting to be dim.

Unique and comfortable

Great interior design, cozy rooms and friendly staff
-
The bathroom is impractical and entering and exiting the shower dangerous

Loved this hotel, its location and decor. The restaurant was great, and the little store so pretty. The floor in the room squeaked with every step! It was so loud and distracting. I should have asked for another room, that is on me.

Beautiful property in a great location, lovely room and space, friendly and warm staff, delicious food. Loved the terrace in the back. On the pricier side of things. But every attention to detail is made to make guests feel welcome. So worth it.

There could be anti-moth papers since I've never seen so many (and no closet so I closed my luggage)! And some shelving too around the bathtub and sink. No privacy between toilet & bed, this needs to be said. I was with my daughter, it's ok, but it can be a bit odd for couples (lack of intimacy). Otherwise, all nice & lovely!

The property was close but not too close to the tourist sights. Our walks to them gave us a chance to see at least a little of the city and its people Safe not very accessible especially given the presence of the triangular table The young woman who served our breakfast after our first night seemed unhappy about something. She was the opposite of warm and charming.

The staff is wonderful—friendly and attentive. The location is perfect, very convenient. The interior is cozy and well-designed, and the food is excellent There was a noticeable smell of mold in the room, and we could see it starting to appear on the bathroom walls. Additionally, it took a very long time for the hot water to come on, which was quite inconvenient.

The staff were exceptionally nice and friendly and gave our dog water and provided us with onward travel information and walked us to the car park. Nice garden area and very beautiful decor and furniture . Very comfortable bed and pillows and linen were gorgeous . Dog had her own bowls and bed. There was a bathtub in the shower cubicle which was very awkward and difficult to access and use. Doors were difficult to open and floorboards very creaky .

Beautiful boutique hotel in an excellent location to explore Porto from. The neighbourhood is fun to explore and easily walkable to the main districts. We had a spacious, tastefully designed room with large bathroom, huge comfortable bed and couch. We visited in winter and it was warm. Staff were kind and helpful and the breakfast was restaurant standard. We enjoyed our stay and would like to be back again one day. The floor boards are a little squeaky, it being a historic building, we had a peaceful stay though.

The wood in the room seemed to be old, and you could clearly hear the movement upstairs.

Great location in a quiet neighborhood. The hotel itself is very cool design-wise. Really liked the bluetooth player! Complementary port wine was also nice :) There are weird glass doors separating the bathtub from the room. I think they were supposed to be sliding but they are fixed and it makes it kinda hard to get into the bathtub. Also water splashing into the room :( The kettle was inexcusably cheap compared to the rest of everything in the room. Smelled of plastic really bad when it was being heated. And the very squicky floor (but that comes with the cool old building :D)

facilities were superb! i get that the rooms with no tv is a concept, but it kinda makes a difference
