The room was really clean. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was great. Overall, we were really happy with our stay. We wouldn,t really change anything.

Exceptional

This was our second time to stay in this hotel which has been renovated since we last stayed there for one week in late 2023. This time we stayed for 8 nights to explore Porto in summertime. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, great breakfast with plenty of options. Great location with excellent restaurants within 50 metres of the front door! Very friendly and helpful staff on the reception desk and throughout the hotel. We asked for a kettle for our room and this was brought up almost straight away. I highly recommend this hotel as a base to explore Porto. Everything is within walking distance including metro stops. Nothing really. If I was forced to have one small quibble it would be the absence of a bedside drawer in the room for our 8 night stay. There was a bedside table but no drawer. A bedside drawer would be helpful for putting in phone charger, socket adapter, notebook, pen, wallet, novel, small personal items, etc. keeping them all in one place. I used a small rucksack on the table to keep personal items in one place that I could reach for from the bed. As I say, a small quibble but the absence of a bedside drawer is unusual in a hotel.

Amazing location, very central - but our room was very quiet (even on the crazy night of St John’s celebrations!). Nice room with everything modern, functional and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast with a good selection. I would definitely stay here again! Everything was great. The only improvement I can think of is the hot water dispensers at the breakfast buffet. The tap handle was hard to twist and open.

Location was good. Lots of varied and affordable dining options around. Easy to reach.

The bed and room were comfortable. The hotel is in a great location. The breakfast was not included for us, important to note. There are many choices nearby but they do not open early. There are wonderful restaurants and shops nearby. There is a laundry nearby and good places to watch the World Cup. It is relatively close to the train station. The service was professional but several desk people appeared completely uninterested, a change from every other place we’ve been.

Perfect location. But best of all, the staff are super attentive to every detail and friendly. Oh, and the shower water pressure is fabulous!! ? I’m really reaching to think of something I didn’t like…but there was a sign in the bathroom about the number of towels washed each day and you can help save water by reusing your towels. Hanging towels will be left alone and towels on the floor replaced. I hung my towels up every single day so that I could reuse them, but every time I returned, they had been replaced with fresh, clean towels. So as you can see, I’m being petty to come up with something negative.
