Ubika Hotel

Easy access, room comfortable, breakfast voucher to use in very nice café. We had a warning to disconnect from Internet as it said was corrupted. The place was a bit remote from anywhere so drove to find place to eat.

Nothing. Niente. PLEASE do not stay at this hotel, especially if you have children. PERFAVORE non alloggiate in questo Hotel, specialmente se avete figli. (TRADOTTO PER INTERO IN ITALIANO SOTTO). I don't normally leave reviews, but this was honestly the worst and most shocking service I have ever received. First thing first, there is no one at reception ever, the only way to communicate with the person in charge of this Hotel is via Booking.com messages, so if anything happens, like an emergency, someone hurting them selves etc especially with children, no one is there to help. In addition they did not explain to us if and where a Fist Aid box was, emergency phone number, fire exit, nothing.. Which i would at least expect from them since there was no stuff present. They do everything digitally via Booking.com messages, such as sending info about how to open the room door etc.. Not one single person ever greeted us in person, which I find very odd! It was extremely hot and no mini fridge in the room to keep cold water bottles.. Location of the hotel is really bad, The hotel is 30 minutes walk from the center and there are no Taxi in Porto San Giorgio, so we had to walk back and forth each time in the heat. They provide vouchers for Breakfast only every morning, to be consumed at a café near by, but it's for a coffee and a croissant only. In any other hotel we stayed at in Italy or elsewhere, for Breakfast there would be a big variety of choice. It just felt like they do the minimum and just don't really care. In our room the WiFi was very week and kept coming and going every other minute; so I kindly messaged the Hotel on Booking.

Most of them In my opinion it needs to have a fridge cos somer time is very hot need to have same cold water

Bedroom and bathroom were both clean and everything seemed to be working. No reception made place feeling little impersonal. I was slightly annoyed by front door being handled by lockbox. Also wasn't sure how to handle thrash.

Too loud staff in the morning . Internet problem
