Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was excellent. The place isn't really pet friendly. I felt very uncomfortable about my tiny and sweet pet chihuahua during my stay as I was told, on arrival, about all the restrictions and potential costs relating to the stay of my pet in the premises. I was also specifically told off about my pet being without a leash in the gardens when there were no other guests in the pousada. The managers were not very welcoming or friendly.
