Hotel Moderne

Elegantly designed hotel with modern adornments and stylings. Exceptional, attentive, multilingual staff. Excellent service all around. The breakfast is great. The rooftop bar offers a great view of the area while enjoying a cocktail. Right in the center of town and very walkable to tons of restaurants. N/A

The Hotel Moderne is one of the best design hotels that we have stayed in Europe. We will definitely be making a return trip in the (hopefully not-too-distant) future.

Great product, in the great location. Modern, as the name suggests, and with everything you need — amenities, toiletries, mini bar, cute cafe on the first floor and nice rooftop bar. The best part was the staff. I asked about taking saucisson home and they looked up a nearby store that was open and which kind to buy. When I forgot my passport in the room safe, they help me arrange a taxi to drive it to the airport close by, allowing me to catch my flight. Beautiful place and beautiful people. A little on the pricier side.

The location was right off the church, so one heard the occasional bell, but not at night so just fine. The hotel is small, utilitarian, but the rooms pristine and efficient and light with views over the old rooftops on the town. I loved the fact that the lighting was excellent, there were accessible plugs for devices, a well stocked mini bar and a nice closet with removable hangers. Very much enjoyed my stay. Rooms were a bit small and the shower had no door, so that the water spilled out, but these are quibbles...

Quite a recently refurbished hotel so the facilities were excellent. Hotel is in the heart of the pedestrian area of town so a little awkward to get to with a car. Car parking is available nearby...at a cost. There is a rooftop terrace that has great views. Paid extra for parking in a nearby parking area....quite expensive. Breakfast was also an extra cost, and while we could eat it on the lovely rooftop terrace, it was not great value for money. Overall, I felt this place was a bit overpriced.

Choice of healthy or continental breakfast.Would have liked more options but a small hotel. Location in the centre excellent. Free bus around the town. Staff really welcoming and helpful. Plenty of eateries within a 100m. We came by bus so for us the location was superb. Apart from more breakfast choice nothing.

great location and very welcoming - beautiful hotel and spotlessly clean breakfast was perhaps a little bit small and charged separately to the room - it looked very pretty and fitted in with the aesthetic of the hotel - the ground floor being a local cafe

Stunning, clean modern rooms right in the heart of a beautiful old town. The front desk staff were so welcoming and helpful and really took the time to help us plan our trip. I'm glad we didn't' stay in the Port, where we were was so beautiful and surrounded by beautiful cafe's restaurants and authentic shops. We visit Santa Giulia beach as part of their recommendation and it was beautiful!

Location excellent - in the heart of the old town. Parking proved challenging as the roads in the centre are shut off in the evening to pedestrianise the area which we did not know about, but we managed with the help of reception staff who were brilliant. No milk for coffee in room

Hotel Moderne is in a brilliant location, right in the centre of the old town next to the beautiful square and church. The hotel was recently renovated and it was clear the owners have done it to a very high standard. The rooms are comfortable with excellent sound proofing, high quality finishings and an extremely comfortable and large bed. The tea, coffee and water were replenished every day and the room was very clean. We didn't have the breakfast but it looked good. The hotel has a lovely roof terrace with fantastic views. So a lovely hotel but it was the owner and staff that made it really special - everyone was very friendly and helpful, offering good advice on where to go and helping to arrange days out for us. They made it a perfect stay. I can't think of anything i didn't like.

Location, nice staff, small room but clean. Good shower nice towels Expensive breakfast 15 euros. Parking 15 euros.

The location was great, there was a little bit of noise during night time, but it was really enjoyable overall. We had a great time
