Overlooking Loch Snizort, the West Pier Restaurant at Skeabost serves the best of Island cuisine, freshly made using only the finest locally sourced ingredients. After dinner, watch the sunset over the Loch from our patio, or relax and unwind by the open fire with a local malt from the cocktail bar. Whatever your preference for accommodations, the hotel has 21 bedrooms with attached bathroom, all unique in style, ranging from contemporary sea view rooms with private terrace to a luxury family suite with separate bunk bed room for the children. Open all year we welcome non residents and our elegant lounges with comfy sofas and cozy fires are open daily for lunch or afternoon tea. Our car park is free and has an electric charging point.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The service was a little slow ( seemed under staffed) stand out quality of food,selection and presentation first class The service was rather slow because they seemed under staffed

Complete disappointment. Booked this as a special “splurge” getaway with my family expecting gorgeous old building with charm tucked away in the Scottish highlands. Staff was disorganized, the building and room was very run down. Worn carpets, stains, dirty shower, and water damage around the bedroom window. The view from our room was facing a shed with people walking by so there was zero privacy and just an ugly building to look at. The breakfast was disappointing with small portions of tasteless pancakes and a spongy smoked salmon. We are extremely disappointed especially given the very high price tag compared to similar locations around. Avoid the “West Pier” restaurant inside the hotel at all costs. The food was stale and just gross. When we mentioned it to the waitress we were told the gnocchi was from yesterday and they actually ran out of the offered whipped garlic butter and homemade grain bread and instead had given us margarine and white bread loaf. No effort was made to correct this or apologize for the bad food. Save your money, no redeeming qualities. Not worth the drive. Edit in response to management: Our room #3 was on the second floor at the top of the stairs, with a view over a shed and a walking path with guests walking by. As far as denying the stains, water damage, and dirty carpets, all you have to do is look at the photos I took of our room and that is proof enough. There are plenty of bad reviews, and I only wished I had believed them before I booked this nightmare hotel.

Amazing property! Very quaint and picturesque with a very friendly staff. Excellent chef - some of the best meals we had in Scotland d. A little far from main town- you need a car or taxi to get to the property. But that’s all Isle of Skye!

Location This hotel is overpriced. I paid £6000 for 3 rooms for 4 nights. Rooms were small with poor sound insulation. Rubbish bin never cleared. Coffee tray never refilled. Bedside lights are impossible to read by. The worst thing is dinner. There are only 6 main courses & they do not include beef, chicken, pork or lamb!

Skye is a beautiful island, this property also beautiful Staff very helpful and friendly We stayed in the gate house. Not sure I fully recommend. Windows dirty on outside and bathroom fixture in tub and on toilet broken. Good space for family but no place to hang clothes or no dressers really.

Interesting building looking at it from the front of the hotel Took a room with view of the loch. Room was a lot smaller than expected for the price we paid. Just the size of a standard 3* hotel room. So as a result, the score we give you is the lowest possible for value for money. Compared with other places we stayed in the Highlands, this was the worst value for money. Dinner was ok but again not worth the price. Why on earth are you serving Welsh water instead of Scottish water. What's wrong with Strathmore !!! Breakfast a major disappointment. Lukewarm scrambled egg. No fresh berries for breakfast.
