The room was clean, and the room and bed were nice. The amenities weren’t of great value or quality but that wasn’t a problem for us. The main thing that was a little annoying was we had to get a new key card like 3 times because it would just stop working. Also, walking to and from our room the hotel had a weird smell at times, and it wasn’t the cleanest. But we had a good experience, it was just the keycard was annoying

Met our needs for a one night on the road stay

This is our third time staying at this Howard Johnson's. The lobby is clean and inviting and most staff were friendly and make us feel welcome. The cleaning staff does a great job making the room feel and smell fresh. Our only complaint was that the dining area ran out of coffee cups and we had to go back up and bring down those from our room. Inconvenient, but not a game changer. We always recommend this Howard Johnson's to friends visiting in the area.

We slept well. Check-in and out were quick. Convenient location. Cost less than other places. Iconic Howard Johnson’s! I liked the retro posters. Breakfast area was very tight. Discoloration in tub and the shower spray was a single stream.
