Nothing The hotel cancelled the booking the night before, and then said we could book directly with them for twice the price. This was a bait and switch and completely unacceptable

Very nice property in unique setting! Owner wasn’t helpful. Booking screwed it up, owner said that was not his fault.

the staff who welcomed us, he was very kind, intelligent, helpful, helped us in everything… The receptionist, I spoke to on the phone her (maybe she's the owner), she was not helpful at all, I booked two nights and the first one was not available when I arrived with the group, Therefore, we had to book another accommodation for the first night, but we returned for the second because there was no other available accommodation. I paid the second night, But I haven't received an invoice until today. This is unacceptable!

Arrived. Everything was shut. Nobody there to meet us. Tried knocking looking in windows and phoning. Had to make altern

Loved the room upgrade to a suite, wifi access everywhere on the property, views of the country side, outdoor pool, and billiard table library room. Based on my expectations of the price charged and the service provided there is nothing negative. This property is managed by two people which try their very best to ensure you have a relaxing stay.

Stunning location, very well designed, so many rooms to see in this beautiful castle... Heating but again it was not too much a problem at the end as we got some extra heaters...

Stunning hotel with wonderful staff, they really couldn't do enough for us. They served us drink, lit candles and were extremely friendly. The outdoor pool wasn't quite clean and the jacuzzi room outside needed work done. Both could have been presented better. Despite this, the staff did a wonderful job with the rest of the hotel and I'm sure this is not always the case.

Beautiful building, lovely decor The grounds need a better landscape design to set the context for the building.

Bed was comfy. Nice pool. Beautiful building. Grounds were in a really poor state, and need some basic maintenance and sense of tidiness, dead plants in plant pots, hose pipes laid across the terrace instead of put away. Staff lacking basic hospitality skills, on arrival staff were sitting outside the entrance smoking cigarettes. No menu or price lists on food / wine, wine arrived at the table already opened without me even choosing the bottle, had no idea what it was or even how much it would be. Maybe the waiting staff could wear a uniform rather than trainers and Nike track suits? We didn't know if they were guests or staff.

The room did not have any clothes hanging facility. The bathroom smelt. The main door/window would not close properly so the room was not secure.
-
It was extremely hot, so the pool saved our lives! Beautiful setup. With the supermarket nearby, the do-it-yourself garden kitchen is not such a bad idea. Very nice kitchen couple. No light bulbs in the bedlights. Only two power outlets in the room, so we had to choose between fan, TV and charging our phones. We did not get the room category we booked.
-
We liked the fact that it was kids friendly and our host had a "free mind spirit". So you are quite free to do what you want in a location where you couldn't normally. Nice room and overall clean Very nice location and restful Friendly host Kids breakfast wasn't charged Strange feeling when arriving; feeling of emptiness and not real receptionists Service not in line with a 5-star Chateau ( but that's also the goal of the owners it seems) No real restaurant

beautiful property- full of character and very clean. the staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them!

What a fantastic place! We had such a wonderful stay thanks to Antoinette and Gino - they made the trip so special- thank you!

The staff was very friendly and helpful and did their best to make us comfortable and look after us. The place was once a five star hotel we presume but is now unsigned, very comfortable bed, not the cleanest, empty with no staff apart from someone to let you in and give you breakfast. We were the only ones there and at night the only people in the building it appeared! An extraordinary experience a fabulous building, an indoor and outdoor pool, hammam and sauna which you could use if you requested but fairly unnerving! No restaurant and we could not tell if they were planning to open properly at some stage or just running at as a b & b. The web page is completely out of date. Recent reviews look suspicious.
