Albergo Terrazze Sul Mare

Close to beach. Close to port. Nice walk into town Impossible to sleep. The road outside the hotel is in pristine condition- one of the best in Sicily. It offers and extended stretch of coastline with no stops. Late at night traffic and pedestrians clear out and the road becomes the local racetrack for every kid with a throttle. Full throttle speed rounds down this street were continuous from 11pm through 3am. Your head (in bed) is literally only a few meters away from the racetrack. Also, the air conditioning was feeble and barely made a difference. There was no one there to check us in or welcome us. The process for getting into the room was hilarious (I won’t get into it). The manager told us he’d be there at 6pm to photograph our passports. We waited 45 minutes and decided to leave when he didn’t show and find something to eat. While at dinner I saw he left a voicemail saying that he needed to know what time we wanted breakfast and saying something about freshly made coronetti. I texted him back and gave him our preferred time and told him how grateful we were. I The woman who put out the breakfast seemed unfriendly and annoyed by our presence. We watched the fresh coronetti delivered but we were told we could not have any because we didn’t order any. Something obviously had been lost in translation. Further, The breakfast was not at all worth paying for.

Very good location directly across from an accessible beach with proximity to shops and the ferry if you're going to Malta. Staff were accessible and responsive. Breakfast good. Only stayed one night but it was a good time I wouldn't say it's anything that I specifically 'didnt' like. It's a smaller coastal BnB, not an all inclusive 5-star resort, so you're value in what you pay for is there.

Very clean. Beautiful seaside stay. The dining room was set up in such an inviting manner. I would stay here again if needed. Everything in the neighborhood was closed till about 6pm at night. Nothing open for lunch...

Easy access from the ferry terminal within walking distance. Beautiful bathroom with big rain shower. Helpful staff with restaurant and transport suggestions.

The location was convenient to restaurants and to the port to catch the ferry. Unfortunately weather was rainy and cool on the afternoon we were there so we could not enjoy the.beach, but in better weather it would have been great. The room was spacious. The host was very friendly and communications were prompt and helpful. The host also provided us with a takeaway breakfast which was great. Not really anything . I found the bed a little soft for myself, my partner found it better.

Cute, clean, and easy 7 minute walk from ferry. Owners are super nice!!!! Nothing. Everything was perfect down to the tiniest detail!!

Can hear everything from downstairs and next room. Paper thin walls.

Easy to get to the Ferry, Sicily-Malta, friendly staff, clean terrasse, large fridge.The shower was great. Steep staircase to get up to the room, the room was a « King Suite » but it was a small room. The breakfast was a bit poor.

Across the street from the beach, and walking distance to the ferry (long walk). Room was spacious and clean. Description said all rooms had a view, but our view was mainly of parked cars on the street. However we did not spend a lot of time in the room. Some street noise at night. We did not find any good restaurants or gelato within walking distance.

The room is very small, the attached patio was bigger than the room.

Decent location across from the beach, nice big bathroom. It was quite loud in the evening and mornings. Being on the first floor I could every door closing and opening. I also was told they would do laundry for $4 but when I arrived they did not follow through. There was also hair on the bed and nightstand.

Giancarlo is a great communicator, always got back to me in a timely manner for my many questions, much appreciated. Loved the location, perfect for our two day stay and onward transport to the Malta ferry. I would have booked a terrace room, in hindsight, but ours was more than adequate for our short stay.

Very clean. Easy access. Great breakfast Bed was unsupportive. (More than just soft) Shower went cold at the end of one short shower.

Location across from the beach and walking distance to downtown Bathroom is very small with no shampoo or soap

Close to the Ferry Terminal to Malta which was the main reason for us. Our room was clean, recently updated, adequately supplied; the buffet breakfast provides a good range of continental selections. Our host, Giancarlo, was very hospitable and engaging. It was as a very pleasant stay. Nothing.

Helpful owner, clean bedrooms, good breakfast and great location for ferry to Malta.

We had the room closest to the street, so there was a bit of traffic noise, but, we could wake up and see the ocean!

We did not have breakfast as we had early ferry and staff were not there. Quite a lot of road noise but died down overnight. A coffee machine would have been nice instead of instant coffee.
