Mare Nostrum Petit Hôtel

It is a 2 to 3 star hotel so that has to be considered but it suited our needs and we were pleased. As I said. It is a 2 to three star hotel, showing its age. That said, it's clean and comfortable and the price reflected that and was fair. Mr. Caruso is responsive and excellent host. I would go back.

Enrico could not have been more helpful. He arranged very reliable transportation for us from the airport to the hotel and, the next morning, from the hotel to the ferry. He provided great recommendations for a restaurant for dinner (where we had a fantastic meal) and very clear directions to the restaurant. He also provided us with free drinks upon arrival. The room was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. I cannot think of anything that we didn’t like.

This must be the best hotel I have stayed in Sicily! We came for one day and stayed for four ! Everything was perfect Location perfect Nothing not to like !

Spacious, very clean and a great breakfast. Enrico is the most helpful and kind host we have met on our travels. The location is close to the ferry and buses for travel to Modica and Siracusa.

Beautiful and charming hotel just in the middle of Pozzallo. All the amenities are reachable by walk. Owners very very kind and familiar. Adviced for any kind f traveller. Small hall but warm and comfortable

Excellent location and the facilities were exactly what we needed for the purpose of our stay. Enrico was very attentive, friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble - truly outstanding. Breakfast was really good. We would recommend Mare Nostrum. Nothing.

The owner is so lovely, he waited for us after our arrival by ferry at night, the breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh baked pastries. Easy walking distance to restaurants and beach, we were lucky with a car park close by. Rooms and bathroom are quite dated.

After Ferry arrival, we arrived at the Mare Rostrum Hotel by a transfer taxi. Mare Rostrum was like a paradise location in Pozzallo after Malta. Taken to the Hotel to be met by Enrico Caruso, the owner & his wife. It was an easy check-in with a lift to the room. Clean & efficient & sterile, although small for 2 sharing. Substantial, delicious breakfast with cooked eggs & fresh baked goods. Just, Yumm. Enrico went over & above to make us feel welcome & helped with transport to Catania. I will never forget his & his wife's hospitality. cannoli, coffee & introduction to Antica Risetta of Siciliana. I would definitely stay at the Mare Rostrum Hotel again xx Nothing! It was great

Enrico is a star and despite mix up he agreed to accommodate my two dogs after I forgot to notify him. The room was comfortable and the fresh pastries in the morning were delicious.

Lovely clean hotel. Good shower, spacious room with good aircon & the breakfast was really good. The host was the best. Friendly & helpful. Nothing.
