Renovated in 2015, Bishop's House is a design hotel in the heart of the historical center of Prague, only 197 feet from Charles Bridge and the Vltava river and a 10-minute walk from Prague Castle. It offers free WiFi in the entire hotel. The main hotel building dates back to the 16th century and has an empire façade from 1843. Guests can also choose accommodations in a Gothic tower which was a former official seat of the bishop, first mentioned in the 13th century. All rooms are air-conditioned. The top-floor tower rooms feature beautiful ceilings, reminiscent of the long history of the house. Please note that some rooms are accessible only by stairs. When booking 9 or more people or 4 or more rooms for the same date, through one or more bookings, the hotel may apply different payment and cancellation policies. Please note that the same credit/debit card that was used for the prepayment of your booking needs to be presented upon arrival. Location was superb. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Buffet breakfast was ok. Eggs and sausages were either overcooked or undercooked.

Great location and Giuseppe is an excellent member of staff. I was assigned room 44 but the AC didn’t work at all. The staff were excellent in solving the problem. The breakfast choice was good but they should consider covering the food as there were a few flies landing in food.

Great location and staff. Nicely refurbished room in the tower. Very warm in the room and the bathroom heater kept turning on.

Location was great, staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean. Breakfast was good but would like to have some more options, like lactose free milk, diary free cookies but that is just me, overall it was good and tasty.

A lovely Prague hotel in a very good location, seconds away from Charles Bridge, but in a calm quiet spot. The room was well equipped and comfortable, with air conditioning, and the hotel lounge and breakfast area are lovely. The hotel staff were always helpful and the little touches - always available coffee and fresh water in the lounge, a plate of cakes in the afternoon - really made our stay special We enjoyed having a light and airy room overlooking the square at the front of the hotel, but that meant we had some early morning noise, as street cleaners came and went etc. So ask for a room away from the street if you prefer silence.

Cleanliness of room, accessible by lift. Buffet breakfast excellent and varied each day. 24hour hot drink accessible in breakfast area. Nespresso type machine in bedrooms. Extremely friendly staff. Would have been lovely to have been able to view Prague from our bedroom. We were in the attic room so only two small windows .

Location was the best! The mattress on bed was really hard to sleep on, it was my only complaint!
