Hotel Josef

Prague was the last location for our 4 week Europe trip for our honeymoon and we didn't intend to, but we definitely saved the best til last! Everything about this hotel feels extremely premium - from the exterior building to the interior of the lobby/restaurant/cafe/bathroom and all the staff members we interacted with - it all really felt like a luxurious experience. The staff member Martin truly went above and beyond to help make our visit to Prague as good as possible and spent an hour with us to give us local tips. To our surprise, we received a room upgrade and the staff left us a special little gift as well. It is also very convenient to the main areas of Prague and everything is pretty much walking distance (we even walked over to Prague Castle!). We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again!

Great staff who responded to any requests. Very clean and comfortable. Perfect location for walking to places of interest. Lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from.

Best buffet breakfast we’ve ever had. Amazing that you can order the breakfast to your room for a very small fee. Well-equiped gym for a hotel, extremely friendly staff (always saying hello, making coffee on request, opening doors for you ect.) and a great location. Nothing!!

great location in the old town, almost all sights are walkable and there are many good restaurants nearby. hotel itself was easy to find, modern, and had great staff!

Nice view from the balcony. Most of the reception staff provided good service and were friendly. The room was spacious and the balcony was lovely. Great location. The service from some of the staff was slow and inconsistent. Housekeeping was hit or miss, forgetting to provide new glasses and toilet paper. On one occasion, I went down to reception in the evening to ask for fresh glasses, they directed me to the bar where the bartender was slicing ham. There was no one else at the bar. Despite acknowledging my request, and fresh glasses being right there, he proceeded to slice ham for up to 3 or 4 minutes. The hotel prides itself on taking care of the little details (they even have this written). Clearly that wasn't the case during my stay. There is only 1 bin in the room, and that's in the bathroom, and only has a small round hole. The Booking.com description says there is a desk and the pictures show it. There isn't.

Location is perfect close to everything on Old Town but still convenient access to everywhere. Minimalistic elegance , elevated experience for the discerning traveler. Layout and technology in rooms is excellent. Breakfast was high quality and worth the expense. Some stains in the corridor carpet, but other than that the facilities are excellent.
