Hotel Vientos del Sur

We stayed in the attic, where the rooms are very hot, and there are other structural problems: walls are thin so you can hear the other rooms and midnight parties on the other side of the street; shower is small and slippery; the ceiling is low; parking space is not enough for all guests, and the hotel didn't have an alternative to parking on the streets.

This hotel was excellent. The staff were super-helpful. For example, we needed to leave at 5:30am so they provided us a substantial packed breakfast to-go. There is complementary coffee and water all day. They kindly allowed us to leave the car in their car park all day while we were gone on a volcano hike - even though we were checked out already. They also allowed us to leave food in the fridge and use the restaurant tables when we got back. They were so helpful in every way. The location is also excellent - right in the centre of the town - near the tour agencies, restaurants, bars, shops. Overall, top class ! Finally, the cost was amazing value for money.

The stuff was really helpful and kind, the breakfast was good...scrambled eggs included, the location was great, 1minute to the main street.

This was a lovely well-maintained, very clean property with the bonus that the staff spoke good English. My wife was ill when we arrived and they allowed us to check in early (to a different room than we booked). The room was comfortable with a good ensuite and strong shower; and they served a nice breakfast. It was close to shops and restaurants - and to the bus terminals: useful as we were back-packing. Heartily recommended- thank you for your welcome! Absolutely nothing!

The location, the view of the volcano, the breakfast and the beds. It was missing a heater to dry our cloths, so we used the floor (which was heated in some parts) for that.

Brekfast was perfect, Location in the city center, room is comfortable. You can drink wather and tea all day! Maybe have a intercoms in rooms. And Provid vans all guests ( Who need)from the airport to the hotel with additional cost.

The staff, the room, facilities, parking and breakfast. The only problem is that at night is hard to sleep because there is a club open until very late with loud music which is right across the street. You will need ear plugs.

The staff is very sweet and helpful and the property and rooms are very well kept!

The breakfast is good, with fair variety of food. The staff is absolutely kind. Our bedroom was comfortable and with a great view to the volcano.

very clean I got a room on the second floor by the street side and was to much noise. it was difficult to rest and no view to the volcano as I requested.

Great breakfast, staff and location. Housekeeping was top notch and the place was clean. There was no fridge in the small room. Loud traffic on the volcano view rooms, and no climate control.

very friendly staff; delicious buffet breakfast and nice variety; Villarica Volcano is visible in front of the hotel the bathroom needs improvements. It is clean but has old furniture; Not necessarily a bad thing but for breakfast you need to order and someone will serve you. Which might be a bit difficult to explain (if you don't know Spanish very well) or to get served when many people are ordering in the same time.

Breakfast is given to you by someone. Although they are friendly, you always have to ask for what you want.

what a charming hotel… friendly staff, well run and in a great location. the facilities are good, with a very comfortable room. breakfast was really good value for money!

We loved this hotel! Great value. Comfortable bed. Off-street parking. Great breakfast. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. We stayed two nights. Wish we could have stayed longer. n/a
