Hampton Inn & Suites Pueblo-Southgate

Location was excellent for our purposes, just a short drive to the event location. Didn't try the breakfast, we had made plans with family. The beds were so comfortable! That was a pleasant surprise. I would have appreciated a fan in the bathroom. Hard to get ready in a steamy bathroom after a hot shower.

Bathroom floor was gritty and the tv didn’t work. Bed was ok property was clean otherwise

Staff was courteous. Easy check in and no problem getting another room on short notice. Always good to stay there convenient. Good breakfast. Thanks to the staff for the continental breakfast. Thanks for a good stay. Rooms were nice.

The hotel is in pretty rough shape. For the price we expected a newly renovated Hampton Inn.

They charged $4.00 for parking. Never saw that at a Hampton before. No advance notice till checkout.

Had to change rooms due to rust in the bathtub & peeling wallpaper. The 2nd room had dirty floors in kitchen & bathroom. The grout on bathroom floor was black & needs to be professionally cleaned. The outside of property was filthy. The dogs were allowed to urinate right by front entrance. Concrete needed power washing. Trash was over flowing in trash cans outside & inside lobby. No air conditioning in lobby. Said they were having problems with it. Will never stay at another Hampton

We were evacuated from our home for wildfire and the staff here have been nothing short of incredible. They have been flexible, compassionate, and provided kindness during chaos.

There was no upfront information that stated that there would be another room charge for deposit. I would have thought that the usual deposit for amenities would have been less. There was also nothing stating in town rentals are different from out-of-town rentals. I don't think rentals should have origination qualifiers based on driver's license. Breakfast times should be adhered to and not shorten by a half an hour. One more item to note; if there is a parking fee it should be noted.

We weren’t too impressed with the breakfast. The waffle maker didn’t work and someone left the lids open on the hot food and it was cold. Just the breakfast.

Steve the hotel manager is super awesome and with the friendly and hard working staff they definitely deserve a renovation upgrade to match their hospitality. Give them raises Hampton/Hilton, the people of Pueblo and tourist from all over the USA deserve it! GOD bless!

Ceiling not fixed from a leek in the breakfast area. Dirt on the wire shelves in the closet, dirt on the bathroom walls. I think it is for workers not families on vacation.

The hotel has definitely seen better days. Doors were broken, the bathroom was dirty and the AC didn’t work. Definitely wouldn’t stay there alone.
