The outdoor space and the patios are nice. The staffs are friendly and kind. It seems that most of the workers are volunteers. I wonder how many have contributed to the good reviews. There was no hot showers, only cold water. My room’s toilet was so close to the wall that my knees dig into the wall when I tried using the toilet, it was uncomfortable. Even though the checkout time is at noon, someone came to my room at 10:20 AM, took all the towels and stripped the bed and pillow case. That was super weird and I ended up having to leave early because I got nowhere clean to sit. There was also people talking loudly at 4AM in the kitchen, the walls are thin so you could hear everything.

This place was incredible, I was solo traveling and from the second I checked in the staff was very welcoming - even the people who were staying there as well. it felt like I just walked into someone’s home. Karla and Joana were amazing and always helpful with any questions, tips, recommendations and even showing me around the center, Paulo at the cafe was always in a good mood and making amazing cortado for me. everyone who I didn’t name was also great.

The vibe is very chill, they’ve got everything you need. Puerto Dreams even has a specialty coffee in house which is very good. Staff is friendly and the rooftop plus bar is very nice. Recommend joining salsa nights, but all activities as usually well organized. Would definitely come back ? The location is in Centro, I actually really liked it because you are not in the party area. I prefer to go there, which is really easy with a collectivo, but for some it might be a little farther away.

Amazing vibe at the hostel, Puerto Dreams has everything you need for a short or long stay in Puerto - the cafe is amazing, Adryan is a fantastic barista who puts a lot of love into what he does. The rooftop bar always has a great vibe thanks to Francesco and Gio. Great late night tacos right across the road, there is a lovely family run lavanderia right next door, the volunteers give the place a lot of energy, and the activities are always enjoyable ranging from day trips, salsa classes and jewellery workshops. It used to be 2 different hostels but now they are joined together which is super cool as well because it is like 2 hostels in 1 - there are loads of different places to hang out and meet people, there are 2 large kitchens and lots of different dorms/private rooms to suit everyone. It is also in a great location in centro which is close to some nice beaches. I have loved my stay here so much and would recommend it to solo travellers especially as it has been a great place to meet new people and make life long friends. Nothing!!!

Puerto Dreams is the best hostel I have ever stayed at. The team welcomes you into the family and the hostel becomes your home. They have an amazing cleaning staff who keep everything in top order. Attracts the best people made so many great friends and the location is perfect allowing you to see all sides of Puerto Escondido. 1000% recommend. :)

Room was so comfortable and the facilities were great. Location was great as I was near Carrazillo beach, It is one of several locations I’ve stayed in Puerto and it is easily the best for location, facilities and atmosphere. Stayed in a comfortable private room and the volunteers made me feel so welcomed, shoutout to Joanna, Natalia, Mario, Fritz, Danny, Karina, Emily and Wario. The atmosphere is social but is just right and they have daily activities were I went on a sunset hike one night and salsa night the next

i stayed just before new years so it was extremely pricey for the room, but that is puerto escondido for you. i stayed in the private room which was just fine. it is a very dark room though. music and conversations from the rooftop bar filter through. location is slightly far but it's easy to get colectivos to the beaches

My stay in Puerto Dreams was full of beautiful moments. The staff was absolutely gorgeous and the activities were very different wich allow to please everyone. The bar and the coffee shop were on point, it's one of the best coffees and cinnamon rolls I've had in a long time traveling. The room was very pleasant with a lot of space and a really confortable bed.

Beautiful hostel, clean rooms, spacious rooftop with bar and kitchen, a café in the hostel and most of the staff was really friendly besides one person that rather seemed to be pissed when you were asking for something … It’s super noisy as there are parties going on every evening - even hard to sleep with earplugs, but it doesn’t go forever, so it’s ok :D Not that many great restaurant close

It is amazing here. The rooftop is so nice and the activities as well. I enjoyed staying here so much. It felt like a big family and while travelling alone I never felt alone. Thanks to the volunteers Ida, Ivi, Tobi, Benny, Lucas and Lucca

It’s a nice hostel, clean, Internet is working well. 1 km to the ADO station. Staff is nice, a lot of volunteers are running the place. In the evening they made a really good feeling at the roof top bar for all the group. Lucas was very helpful for me and my activities there. It’s a bit far from everything in puerto, nearest beach is 20-25 minutes to walk, also most restaurants in the nearer area close early or are not very special. So you will walk really a lot or you have to take always the colectivo to go somewhere.

I had a really nice stay in Puerto Dreams. The Hostel is great, good vibes and the staff are amazing. Specially I would like to thank Valentine for her kindness, sense of humor and being an exceptional host. She made us feel like at home, many thanks!!

Such a special place. Loved the aesthetic design in common areas and rooms. The location is amazing, in the vibrant centre just by the local market and cheap delicious food places. The cleaning staff does a great job at keeping the spaces lovely and inviting, and the volunteers organise activities every day, which made it super easy for me to socialise with other solo travellers. Does at great job at being social, but not a party hostel. Would definitely recommend to a friend!
